POVERTY TAX
Rock, Psychedelic, Pop, Folk, Country, Gypsy, Punk, Blues, Experimental. Poverty Tax was formed in the Fall of 2006 by the 2 founding members of Secret Agent Bill- Daniel Lewis and Stefan Benteler. Having played together since SAB’s inception in 1995 (when they were just 14 yrs old), they decided to go in a different musical direction, centered around acoustic folk, electric rock-n-roll, and a knack for memorable songs that matter. In 2007, Ed Schlicksup joined the band, and was instantly dubbed Ed Lunar- a reference to his former Champaign, IL Indie Rock/Prog band Lunar Breakdown.

PESTILENCE
Pestilence is a legendary death metal institution from the Netherlands; innovators that revolutionized death metal, altered what was considered “progressive” and set new standards with every album they ever released, creating a body of work that cemented the group in metal’s history.
Groundbreaking albums i.e “Malleus Maleficarum”, “Consuming Impulse “, Testimony of the Anicents” and “Spheres” inspired generations of bands all over the world and altered the reality for hundreds of thousands of listeners, while taking them on an audio journey of unprecedented dimensions with every new studio release. The Ancient ones are a testimony of the past, intertwined with the present and the future, imitated through the years by many but never replicated. Pestilence redefined the genre that started to feel monotonous and prosaic in the beginning of the 90’s and continue to do so to this day.

The Ancient ones are a testimony of the past, intertwined with the present and the future, imitated through the years by many but never replicated. Pestilence redefined the genre that started to feel monotonous and prosaic in the beginning of the 90’s and continue to do so to this day.
Pestilence started in 1986. Initially the band was heavily influenced by American and German thrash metal. By the time of their second album, “Consuming Impulse” from 1989, the band had developed its own style: redefining death metal as we know it. In the years that followed Pestilence became one of the prime bands in the international death metal scene. The group, based around guitarist, songwriter and (then occasional) vocalist Patrick Mameli, toured relentlessly. Especially tours in the US proved to be very successful, where the band toured with CARCASS and DEATH, Sadus and many more.
The band became more skilled over the years, and outside influences crept into the music. This all lead in 1993 to the album “Spheres”, on which Patrick Mameli combined his well loved death metal sound with a new musical passion: fusion. The album was an artistic triumph, but was at the same time many years ahead of its time. In 1994 Pestilence disbanded and Patrick Mameli withdrew from the music scene.
Pestilence returned once again in 2017 and solidified their place among the metal greats once again. The new line-up is the best ever, according to Patrick Mameli and 60 live shows in less than six months in 2018 sure prove that fact! Pestilence is stronger than ever!

PATHOLOGY
PATHOLOGY is epitomized as the ultimate death metal assault to the ears. Since their formation in 2006, the San Diego-based band has managed to release a new album almost every single year since their inception, and have sold over 10,000 albums in the underground scene. The band’s hunger to churn out bludgeoning metal coupled with meaningful themes instantly separates them from the rest.

PAUL CHAPMAN
Paul William Chapman (9 June 1954) is best know for his work with the rock group UFO. On a personal note; Paul Chapman is also known as “Tonka” allegedly acquired because of his indestructible qualities.
In Paul’s early career, his first notable band was the Welsh outfit Universe. Chapman then joined Skid Row in December 1971 replacing Gary Moore as guitarist. His tenure was fairly short and only lasted until July 1972. His next band was Kimla Taz, with whom he was guitarist from December 1972 to May 1974.
Chapman first joined UFO in 1974 as a second guitarist to augment their live sound having answered an advert in UK’s music paper, Melody Maker. He auditioned at the Unity Theatre in London. Although Chapman did not record an album during this period, he did join in time to tour and promote the Phenomenon album. However, he can be heard with the band on several tracks on the BBC live sessions album that was released retrospectively. He left UFO in January 1975 and went on to form Lone Star, where he remained until June 1978.
In 1977, he filled in for Michael Schenker in UFO when they were on tour with Rush in the United States during one of the German guitarist’s absences.

PEELANDER-Z
PEELANDER-Z, the Japanese Action Comic Punk Band based in NYC, was originally formed in 1998 by Peelander-Yellow, Peelander-Red, and Peelander-Blue, after meeting in New York City (although they’ll tell you they’re all from the Z area on the planet Peelander). Peelander-Green was welcomed in July 2008 after Blue left the band.
Peelander–Z has appeared at major music festivals including Bonnaroo and the Vans Warped Tour and has also been featured on TV programs such as VH1’s “Best Week Ever” and Comedy Central’s “Upright Citizens Brigade” among others. The band has also been covered by SPIN, Rolling Stone, Village Voice, NPR and The Onion among many others.
At its live shows, Peelander–Z guarantees intense audience participation and a chance to exercise. You’ll see the band in colorful costumes reminiscent of Japanese anime, though they describe their outfits as their skin. You’ll also see The Red Squid, human bowling and all around insanity. A Peelander–Z performance is a rare occasion for the entire family to rock out and have a great time.
