Proceeds from money raised will go to support T1 International in their mission to support communities by giving them the tools they need to stand up for their rights so that access to insulin and diabetes supplies becomes a reality for all. With more than 40 million people around the world living with type 1 diabetes, there is a large proportion who live in places with inadequate health care or who are underinsured. T1 Fest hopes to use the power of music and community to do our part so that one day we can live in a world where everyone with type 1 or Type 2 diabetes – no matter where they live – has everything they need to survive and achieve their dreams.
We’ve been playing music and touring all over the world for almost 30 years now. We released a few records for Lookout! Records in the early 90s and then had a terrible stint with Hopeless in the late 90s. I don’t think they wanna see us and we definitely don’t wanna see them. Then we released one more record with Lookout! but afterwards switched to our favorite record label we’ve ever had, Asian Man Records. All this while touring a bunch. We’ll see you soon, we’re The Queers.
SACK is an enigmatic group of Denver ass-kickers that (as far as we can tell) is Kody Lillington and some shredders from Peru. There’s been band members named Squiggy, Skeeter, Joe Camel, Coach, and Rad Biker. No one knows what’s *actually* going on with these party punks, but SACK claims their new record is called “Ripper!” and it’ll be out this Summer on Red Scare.
The Raging Nathans are back with a brand new LP less than a year after their last full length album. Their new LP “Waste My Heart” steps it up in every way. “Waste My Heart” is their 4th studio album and it sees a major development in the bands songwriting. The ability to write 1 minute and 30 second punk rock rippers with anthemic choruses is now highlighted by their penchant for writing slightly more complex songs that blend intricate guitar work with the honest and introspective lyrics New themes collide with familiar ones including poverty, politics, love and hate. The drumming is tight, the bass is always in your face, the music is relatable, and clearly having a solid line up for several years has done the band good. The evolution of The Raging Nathans is on full display and their collaborative efforts really shine on “Waste My Heart”. This album proves their importance as a band to their peers and to themselves every step of the way. They are prolific, unapologetic and “Waste My Heart” cements their legacy in stone as the worlds last great punk band. Every record they have released topped the one before it and “Waste My Heart” is no exception. The record was recorded by Luke McNeil (The Copyrights, Hospital Job) and was mastered by Stephen Egerton (ALL, Descendents). FFO: early Propagandhi, Bad Religion, The Ramones
Flamingo Nosebleed started in late 2007-early 2008 after the breakups of other local fort wayne punk bands. Founded by Jake Emissions (vocals, guitar), Drew Snyder (bass), and Josh Peebles (Drums). They released S/T album in 2008 which was recorded by Emissions and Kevin Gaskill (bricktops). Shortly after Josh Peebles left and was replaced by Pete Dio. They dudes started to tour and play a lot more shows all over the Midwest and eastern u.s. Including a recording of 6 songs with Jim Tierney at Joe Queers studio in New Hampshire. After a year, Pete and Drew left to pursue Petes band and Jake picked up Philthy Phill (bass), and Turbo (drums). Continuing to play more and more the guys played a ton of Midwest and east coast shows and recorded Headbanger Demos (very limited to 100 copies) which was handed out at some of the shows including insub fest in Baltimore. Wanting to tour more extensively, the guys moved on minus turbo and picked up mad mike in 2010. This has been the main lineup ever since. The guys recorded Headbanger and went on their first full U.S. tour. Followed by more touring and the Recording of “Blood on the Basement Floor” in 2013 on Kid Tested/Go Kart Records. Since this the dudes have continued to play all over the U.S. and Canada, sharing bills with a ton of bands including Agent Orange, The Queers, The Spits, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Lillingtons, Guttermouth, Toys that kill, Mustard Plug, Off with their Heads, Manges, Parasites, Sloppy Seconds, The Business, Suicide Machines…..etc.
