THE BEER NUTS will be playing their final St PADDYS day show ever – Saturday March 17th 2018 at Reggies Rock Club with Mystery Actions , Major Threat , Fastplants , Anger, Squared Off, RealBadRealFast , and DethWarrant plus other very special surprise guests will be joining the party onstage . After 25 years the Band feels it’s time to pass on the Paddy’s day BEER BONG to the next generation of bands that know how to “have a good time … all the time”

MYSTERY ACTIONS

From the city by the lake comes Chicago’s own Mystery Actions. An all-female lineup delivering punk rock ‘n’ roll music with everything they’ve got and more. Capturing the feel of 70’s punk rock and modernizing the Runaways, these ladies are bound to grab your attention with the first note. Inspired through a broad range of influences covering the Avengers to the Damned these gals are ready to rock.

They have shared the stage with Cock Sparrer, the Buzzcocks, Lower Class Brats, the Queers, Protex, Go betty Go, Murphy’s Law, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Shonen Knife and the Freeze! This is only the beginning…

–Major Threat consists of members and ex-members of such Chicago bands as: 88 Fingers Louie, The Static Age, the Hallow, FULL, Rise Against, Soft Lies, Young Distractions, IronFinger, Myopia, The Old Comiskey’s, Break The Silence, Kradakis, Set Fire To Reason, etc… You get the point.

FASTPLANTS

Fastplants are a punk/skate rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Fastplants formed in 2013 and have been actively recording and touring since 2015. To date the band has released two EP’s, two split LP’s, a tribute 7”, and one full length LP. Fastplants have shared the stage with Agent Orange, The Supersuckers, Zeke, Murphy’s Law, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Stitches, McRad, Angry Samoan, Field Day, Urethane, Radkey and were direct support for D.R.I on their 2019 Southwest/US tour. Fastplants have worked with Beercity Records, NotLikeYou Records and Beercan Records.

SQUARED OFF

Squared Off is a 4-piece street punk band hailing from Chicago IL. Since 1996, Squared Off has been playing in small basements, local dive bars and large touring venues. These guys bring out some of punk’s forgotten ideals of brotherhood, pride, and the words of the working class. Squared Off’s music gives you the sense of kinship with the understanding of the struggles of society today.
