Forged in 2000, MALAS have been conjuring their brand of skull thrashing METAL. Members from the 1990’s bands MALDICION & LORD BLASPHEMER have maintained the bone crushing Chicago sound influenced by CELTIC FROST, SLAYER, SODOM, etc. “Their live show is an assault to the senses. Blasting & thrashing a fierce attack of death metal”. In 2004, they released a three song sampler which was the catalyst to the full length cd titled “Conquest.” The 2005 release was done with three Indie labels, Sempiternal Productions, Utterly Somber Creations and MALAS’ own Maldito Records. The second demo titled “King of Thieves” was released in 2010. Our second full length release, “Path to Holocaust”, blisters its way through Hell and back. Mindwarp Chamber, based in Chicago, IL. is composed of musicians well respected in the industry. They have all joined forces, blending their unique styles to create a very progressive and melodic style of music, filled with technical prowess, mellifluous passages, and displays of virtuosity.

With 2 full length releases under their belts, the band has carved out their own style and approach to the Prog Metal genre. Currently, they are writing and recording new music for an upcoming full length release, slated for 2013, that promises to establish them on the international scene.

Formed in 2008, Earthen Grave is a six-piece Chicago metal band that marries the sounds of metal past and future with a sweaty, pummeling live show. Bassist Ron Holzner served a 15-year sentence with Chicago doom legends Trouble and Rachel Barton Pine brings her frightening classical chops to a relatively new instrument, the Viper. Finding groups like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Saint Vitus, Trouble, Pentagram, Candlemass and Slayer to be common influences, the band wrote and played shows around Chicago for the first half of 2009, culminating in the release of the “Dismal Times” EP in June. Featuring three original songs that meld classic, crunchy doom and NWOBHM vibes with a solid dose of thrashy bludgeoning alongside covers of two choice doom classics by Pentagram and Witchfinder General, the EP was hailed by critics as “astounding, ” and “pure, head-banging bliss” (MaximumMetal.com).
