Bob Nanna has been writing, recording, and performing rock music for 25 years. He’s a featured songwriter in the bands Braid, Lifted Bells, Hey Mercedes, Certain People I Know and often moonlights solo under the name The City On Film and as a duo with Jack & Ace. All he wants to do is write music, practice, and get better.

I guess you wanna know what this is about. Well, this one time I wrote, recorded and released one song every week for an entire year. It was called 52 Weeks and was released as a 2xCD by a label called No Sleep. This other time I wrote twelve songs about twelve US towns. Those songs were (and are) being released on six split 7″ records that also feature Bob Nanna/Lauren Lo, Castevet, Empire! Empire!, Pswingset, Everyone Everywhere and Snowing. Labels called Topshelf, Count Your Lucky Stars and Evil Weevil are responsible for those.
