Northside Ruckus is a gun slinging, garage rock trio from Chicago. Whether they are creating a wall of overdriven guitar and break-neck drumming or slow waltzes that tug at your heart strings, their affinity for power chord riffs and honky-tonk licks make these outlaws a must see.

Thee Rockefeller Sheiks are a band I’m super excited about. You can tellt hey have a deep love for The Stooges and The Velvet Underground, but with plenty of modern punk and psycho-garage influences as well. Their Dog City EP is rough around the edges and brilliantly uninhibited. Fans of locals like Vacation Club, Apache Dropout, or Psychic Feel who haven’t checked this band out should really get on it

The Copper Gamins is comprised of two unique 20-something rockers. The two formed the band last year in January. Jose Carmen, the guitar and vocalist of the band, began playing music by himself, and then recruited drummer Clau (Claudio) Lafinia, who he knew from high school. This was perfect timing because Clau had just returned home from studying abroad in France.

Even thought the band is only a little over a year old, they are already signed to Saustex Media and are playing the famous SXSW festival next week. They stated by playing a few shows in Mexico, and then came to the states, playing at least 30 shows so far.
