MR. BLOTTO

Mr. Blotto was born in Chicago as an off-night vehicle for musicians who loved each others playing but were in different bands at the time. The only rule was that they would only play what they loved. That philosophy continues today and has led Mr. Blotto into unique musical situations.

Mr. Blotto takes the Jam band asthetic into areas unfamiliar to the standard Jam Scene. They have been known to cover entire albums by Led Zeppelin and the Who as well as perform entire shows of Country and Reggae. Artists as diverse as the Grateful Dead, the Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson and The Velvet Underground have seen their material interpreted by Mr. Blotto in the 2000+ shows the band has performed in the last 15 years, yet covers only pepper the bands hefty catalog of original material stemming from five studio albums and other unreleased crowd favorites.

ALOHA RADIO

Aloha Radio could be called a SoCal surf band. But, that barely describes what they actually do. Although their style is reminiscent of ’60′s surf rock and surf pop, their sound goes beyond that. Somehow, this Orange County crew dusts off an old genre and makes it modern.” Aloha Radio is not without their fair share of accomplishments. From being named one of Music Connection Magazine’s Top 100 Live Unsigned Bands, to performing at multiple festivals with legendary artists, to receiving a nomination for Best Surf at the 2013 OC Music Awards, this is just the beginning of Aloha Radio’s unstoppable momentum.

Known for their live performances, in one year the band played over 130 gigs including a West Coast US/Canada Tour. The energy that emanates from these four friends is like a wave colliding with the shore.

EL DUB

Lee “El Dub” Walsh: Lyric Extraordinaire, Musician, Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist, and Vocalist, with a love of music to no end and an even bigger passion to share it!

El Dub is what you call a “looper” or “One man Band”. He plays all instruments live including, beat boxing, guitar, bass, keys and harmonizing vocals and loops them into layers that end up sounding like a full band with just one guy. El Dub uses the RC50 Loop Station as well as a Godin Synth Guitar, and Roland GR55 guitar synth pedal for sounds like horn sections, flutes, organ, piano, and wah clavi, which help him create the staple sounds of a true funk band. You may recognize this type of performance from other “looping artist” like Zach Deputy, and Keller Williams.
