MR. BLOTTO

Long time employee of Mr. Blotto and Reggies, Val Rios passed away unexpectedly on July 31st. Mr. Blotto is doing a benefit show for Val’s family. They will be donating all the money collected at the door.

Those that donate more than the $10 door fee will be able to request any song they’d like to hear and Mr. blotto will attempt to play it.

Reggies will be donating prizes for a benefit raffle with all proceeds going to Val’s family.

Mr. Blotto was born in Chicago as an off-night vehicle for musicians who loved each others playing but were in different bands at the time. The only rule was that they would only play what they loved. That philosophy continues today and has led Mr. Blotto into unique musical situations.

Mr. Blotto takes the Jam band asthetic into areas unfamiliar to the standard Jam Scene. They have been known to cover entire albums by Led Zeppelin and the Who as well as perform entire shows of Country and Reggae. Artists as diverse as the Grateful Dead, the Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson and The Velvet Underground have seen their material interpreted by Mr. Blotto in the 2000+ shows the band has performed in the last 15 years, yet covers only pepper the bands hefty catalog of original material stemming from five studio albums and other unreleased crowd favorites.

THREE CARD TRICK

Three Card Trick are a blues rock power trio hailing from Scotland, UK. They are officially the hardest working band in Scotland playing over 20 shows a month since 2009 all over the country and now the world. Having supported world famous artists such as John Mayall, Wheatus, Johnny Winter, and The Subways, Three Card Trick are now a touring headline act in their own right and are now promoting their third studio album “Jack of All Trades”. Featuring the tried and tested guitar, bass & drums lineup, the band draw on influences such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, AC/DC, Bryan Adams, John Mayer and much more.
