The Leeds Project is a Chicago-based rock band who focuses on the story of Tommy as performed on The Who’s Live at Leeds album. The Who’s performance at this historic concert happened at the height of their tour in 1970, and the recording captured lightning in a bottle. Our Project’s vision is to capture the spirit of their performance as a result of many months of closed-door rehearsals. The journey has produced a result that does not seek to replicate, but to present Tommy in what we hope will be a powerful, unique, and vital way. The signatures of the musicians may  differ from The Who, but the reverence to the band and their music will shine through as Tommy is blasted at new and present heights.
