The Greedy Bliss — Colby Beserra (Vocals, Guitar, Keys), Matt Reed (Vocals, Guitar, Bees) took a shine to the maxim that “Greed is Good” — unless of course, you’re greedy about the wrong things. After holing up for a week at an abandoned Albuquerque Jesus camp, fueled by cheerful regret and years of playing furniture store openings, their album, “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things”, was birthed. Along with bass and drums, the Greedy Bliss’ 20-plus songs truthify the ancient adage that God cares not what you did, but what you do…just so you don’t end up the same.

Kevin & The Collective is masterminded by singer/songwriter/pianist Kevin Pollack, performing originals. Recommended if you are a fan of The Beatles, Richard Marx, Billy Joel, Ben Folds and many other piano rock artists. Kevin’s music has been heard by many. He’s currently in recording studio finishing up his debut EP with special guests 7-time Grammy winner Paul Wertico (Pat Metheny Group), Nick Kitsos (Jennifer Hudson, Sheryl Crow, The BoDeans), Chester Thompson (Genesis, Frank Zappa), David Ragsdale (Kansas) and some members of the CSO.

In a pop music landscape dominated by the guitar, a piano-fronted rock band is bound to stand out—and Nonpronto does just that. Not since Ben Folds Five has a piano trio brought such creativity and energy to the art of pop songwriting. Since forming in Chicago in 2012, they’ve released two EPs: Nonpronto (2013) and Like Shit (2014). Both collections feature five songs worth of infectious hooks, danceable grooves, and slightly heady lyrics. In their short time together the piano driven power trio has made a name for themselves in the Chicago music scene with their genre-bending, unpredictable live performances. Jazz musicians turned pop-rock wannabes, Nonpronto is steadily developing a unique brand of catchy melodic songs that attract all kinds of listeners, from dance crowds to music nerds. The group is currently planning a tour and working on new material for their debut full length album, set to be released in 2015. New England born and raised, Sarah Eide is a Chicago based pianist/singer/songwriter, who writes and performs “piano driven alternative folk”. A traditional classical training coupled with a constant thirst to explore different musical styles has lead Sarah to writing smart yet intimate lyrics that are wrapped in expressive melodies and adventurous chord changes. When Sarah isn’t performing or penning new songs, she is writing music for media. Sarah Eide’s debut album, “Borderland”, is about the space between the known and the unknown… the reminiscing of what’s left behind, the anticipation of change, and the challenge of transition. The album is set for release on January 2015, and will be available for download and physical purchase.
