While floatin’ up Spit Creek without paddles, a few boys from North Carolina, Michigan, and Chicago happened upon one another during a cold Midwestern winter. All bound by the common thread of a love for bluegrass music and the desire to play it, they quickly realized their compatibility. Vocal harmonies and instrumental synchronicity came quickly and naturally, and quite suddenly their paddles were found. Spit Creek Paddlers were then formed, destined to put on barn burners and throwdowns with their upbeat, high energy renditions of traditional bluegrass and rock ‘n roll tunes as well as a large catalog of original music, drawing stylistically from all over the map. You can never know what to expect from one of their performances, but the Paddlers will guarantee this: high caliber, high energy acoustic music and one hell of a good time.
