Formed in early 2012 out of a mutual love of Doom Metal acts such as Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus, and, of course, Black Sabbath, Sacred Monster has gone on to gradually include other influences from Thrash, Black Metal, Death Metal, and NWOBHM to arrive at their current style. Their music alternates between oppressive doom riffs, chainsaw thrashers, and eery acoustic passages. The band also has a love of lyrical topics such as mythology, Lovecraftian horrors, and even old Twilight Zone episodes.

The loving sounds of those passed. The yearly ritual of erasing things. Ocean Days is a simple three piece indie band bringing the not so simple feeling of 20-something angst. You will be reminded of Elliot Smith, From Indian Lakes, Bon Iver, Foxing, and many others.
