BEER HIPPIES is a rock-n-roll band out of Northwest Indiana formed by Steve Murray, Robert Rolfe Feddersen, Blake Murray, Howie Weisjahn and Adam Conley.  Heavily influenced by Blue Cheer, T Rex, The Grateful Dead and craft beer, especially Burn ‘Em Brewing which three of the band members started in Michigan City, Indiana.  BEER HIPPIES kicked off the band in style recording a 45 at Steve Albini’s electrical audio in Chicago.

The duo, Freight Train Rabbit Killer, is an American Roots opera – a shaman of the hills and a vigilante bent on justice.
