Arkaik’s debut album, “Reflections Within Dissonance”, displayed a unique marriage of superior craftsmanship and a forward-thinking promise rarely seen in a band this young. Their sophomore album, “Metamorphignition” builds on their progressive and adventurous predilections and aims to transcend the boundaries of “technical Death Metal” even as it revels in the sub-genre’s wanton brutality. The band’s founder Jared Christianson (vocals) has pooled an immensely talented core of musicians around the band in its over ten years of progression, including emerging drum phenom Alex Bent (who has already done session work for Decrepit Birth/Rings Of Saturn/Battlecross), bassist Ivan Mungia (Deeds of Flesh), and lead/rhythm guitarists Miguel Esparza and Greg Paulson. Having already toured North America supporting Black Dahlia Murder in 2011, and Cannibal Corpse in 2012, they have been touring ever since creating their own enthusiastic fanbase and pushing the genre forward. Now Arkaik has released another crushing onslaught in the form of their newest full-length release “Lucid Dawn” in late 2015, their third Unique Leader Record release to date. Looking forward with ever increasing determination the band continues to seek out new boundaries of extremity and creativity – and then annihilate them.

ALTERBEAST

Sacramento technical death metal militia, ALTERBEAST, is pleased to unleash their full-length debut via Unique Leader this Spring! Titled Immortal, the eight track monster offering was meticulously assembled in several locals throughout 2013. With guitars and bass recorded at Augmented Audio in Los Angeles with former The Black Dahlia Murder bassist Ryan “Bart” Williams, vocals arranged at Mayhemeness Studios in Sacramento by Bob Swanson (Rings Of Saturn) and drums tracked at Castle Ultimate Studios with Zack Ohren (Light This City, All Shall Perish, First Blood, Cattle Decapitation, Warbringer et al), who also mixed and mastered the release, Immortal promises to deliver some of the most dynamic, instrumentally adept and plainly crushing material of the year.

Elaborates ALTERBEAST on the outcome: “Immortal is what was spawned from hard work, dedication, and downright brutal musicianship. It has intricate solos, absolutely crushing interludes and brutal circle-pit anthems. ALTERBEAST sets the scene with grievous piano preceding the onset of ‘Flesh Bound Text’ which comes in with blistering drums and guitars effortlessly making their way around the fret board. INANIMATE EXISTENCE

INANIMATE EXISTENCE is a Progressive Death Metal band from Santa Cruz, CA that started in the Fall of 2010. Originally the band would consist of Cameron Porras (former guitarist of FLESH CONSUMED), Ron Casey (BRAIN DRILL), Joel Guernsey, Ivan Munguia (ARKAIK, DEEDS OF FLESH) and Ian Rittmaster. After a few months of jam sessions the band went in to the studio to record a 2 song demo that would consist of the first recordings of , “The Discarnate Self Paradox” and “Iguanid Labyrinth”, during August 2011. Soon after the recording, Ivan parted ways and Mitch Yoesle became the new bassist. Once the Demo was complete, UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS signed the band to release their first full length album entitled “Liberation Through Hearing”. The group entered Castle Ultimate Studios with producer Zack Ohren (DECREPIT BIRTH, SUFFOCATION, ALL SHALL PERISH) during March 2012. The album was released worldwide July 17th 2012 and also featured a guest solo by MATT SOTELO of DECREPIT BIRTH. As of now INANIMATE EXISTENCE has shared the stage with bands such as DISGORGE, SEVERED SAVIOR, DYING FETUS, ARKAIK, FALLUJAH, SON OF AURELIUS, CATTLE DECAPITATION, PUTRID PILE, VEHEMENCE and many other extreme bands. Currently INANIMATE EXISTENCE is touring to support their debut album and is writing for their 2nd album which is to be released on UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS.

ROMAN RING was formed by members of Small Town Murder as the next step in an evolutionary process. An anomaly amongst the Chicago metal scene, Roman Ring fuses together elements rarely heard from their local peers. Combining blistering speed and technicality with passages of polyrhythmic grooves along with other-worldy influences. Their music will take you on a journey to another dimension before bringing you back to this earth as an evolved being.
