STEPHEN LEE got his boots wet making sinners out of saints with the PunkRockCountry band, “Who Are the Southern Baptists?” However in January of 2013 Lee released the solo and self-titled Stephen Lee EP, recorded and mixed by Dan ABH of The Lab ALL-AGES, in Alexandria, VA.
With a move to Baltimore, Lee released his second solo EP, Too Drunk To Punk. Too Drunk To Punk features faster paced tunes, “Boys Talk,” a self confessional of angst and pessimism towards open mic regulars, but over all reveals a softer and more lyrical approach, steeped in the solitude of solo touring, and the resignation of self reflection. These five songs were recorded live at Lee’s parent’s house in Manassas, VA and engineered by Chad VanNortwick in February of 2014.
Stephen Lee performs either alone or accompanied, both regionally and regularly, hitting Virginia and Maryland dates with frequent stints to points further out. Songs and videos are available at ReverbNation.com/StephenLee, and FaceBook.com/StephenLeeVA, while his music is up for purchase at STEPHENLEE.BANDCAMP.COM. Steve’s been known to trade CDs for a floor to crash on or even just kind words. He likes whiskey after his set, too—just saying.
