Prom Night Perm

PROM NIGHT PERM

Prom Night Perm was formed to fill a void. A void that developed when power ballads died & perms went out of style & David Bowie left us. United by a common love of the synthetic sounds of the 1980s and a futurist mindset, five lads from Chicago set out to reconcile the old and the new; the frivolity and the heaviness; the music of a generation behind and a generation ahead. Prom Night Perm was formed. The void got a little smaller.

The band covers 80s rock, new wave and synth-pop and writes original music that indulges in 80s nostalgia. Prom Night Perm shows have become dance floor getaways for a wide range of friends—from Gen-Xers to newlyweds to celebrities.

In May 2018, the band released their first single, Love in the Nuclear Age, a power anthem that searches for meaning in a world that could end tomorrow. The synth boys followed up that release with a tasty rendition of Don Henley’s 1984 hit, The Boys of Summer.

Prom Night Perm’s debut album is set to be released early next year! For updates on music + shows, follow @promnightperm on Instagram and like the band’s page on Facebook.

ACRES TO MILES

Blurring the lines between rock and soul, ACRES TO MILES’ strength lies in a musical artistic exploration lead by a wide-open sound straddling across genres, and a song-writing style that embraces lyrical humanness. Formed in 2016 by lead singer Brett Axell, guitarist Jeremy Mann, bassist Emery Joe Yost and drummer Guy Henri Bagneki Kingue, this American band illuminates a funky, unique collection of styles.

IN THIS STYLE

Their doctrine was no mere chemical fantasy, but a philosophy they applied to the world, to the elements, and to the human condition itself.

MORGXN

Alternative singer/songwriter Morgxn combines electronic atmospherics with a sensual R&B-influenced delivery, similar to Oh Wonder, Jack Garratt, Jon Bellion, and Bishop Briggs. Born in Nashville, the soulful artist grew up surrounded by music, guided by his grandfather, a former vaudeville singer. Based in both New York City and Los Angeles, Morgxn signed with Wxnderlost Records and released his debut track, “Love You with the Lights On,” in 2016. Later that year, he issued a cover of Duran Duran’s “Notorious” and the thumping rocker “Home.” The popularity of the latter — which spawned remixes by LEFTI, Joywave, and Toy Armada — helped the artist exceed four million online streams. In 2017, he issued “XX” and “Hard Pill to Swallow.”

Immortal Guardian

IMMORTAL GUARDIAN

Hailing from the same state as guitar greats Dimebag Darrell and Stevie Ray Vaughn, Immortal Guardian and it’s founding member Gabriel Guardian continue to carry the flag of musical innovation and virtuosity for the lone star state. Sponsored by Fender Guitars at the young age of 22, Guardian with his one of a kind ability to shred on guitar and keyboard AT THE SAME TIME has brought to the table a new style of performance seen as novelty by some and pure genius by most. With the addition of Brazilian vocal siren Carlos Zema back in 2012, the band has evolved into a full frontal metal assault of anthemic melodies, technical rhythms, and powerful highflying vocals. Immortal Guardian’s latest EP “Revolution Part I” is the independently released follow up to their debut EP “Super Metal: Edition Z” and prequel to the band’s first full length album “Revolution Part II”. For Revolution Part I, legendary producer/engineer Roy Z was brought into the mix to give the tracks a unique sound that evokes the NWOBHM stylings heard in his high profile clients such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson. “Roy completely molded the band’s sound in the recordings…” states frontman Carlos Zema, “…It went from water to wine.”

Immortal Guardian and their eternal quest to “spread the shred” has landed the band on national and international tours including a headlining Brazilian tour and several dates in Russia. Immortal Guardian has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in metal such as Judas Priest, Dragonforce, Kamelot, Symphony X, Sonata Arctica, Slayer, Metal Church, Soilwork, Steve Vai and others. The band has also made a name for themselves as a DIY guerilla marketing machine via their Immortal Guardian Shred Sled, a mobile metal show on wheels, which has been covered by SPIN.com and other media outlets while out at major music festivals such as South By Southwest, Fun Fun Fun Fest, and River City Rockfest.

Immortal Guardian is currently getting ready to announce their first full-length record being released on M-Theory Audio set for late summer. When asked about the label signing Gabriel Guardian commented, ““I’m very happy to announce IMMORTAL GUARDIAN’s signing with M-Theory Audio and the start of our next epic chapter. Marco Barbieri and his team have been accumulating a serious roster, and with a track record like his, we are definitely honored to be joining the family. Looking forward to all the good times ahead!”

INTERLOPER

Interloper consists of Miles Dimitri Baker (Rings of Saturn, ex Ænimus), Aaron Stechauner (Rings of Saturn, ex Abiotic), and Andrew Virrueta (Sea of Skies, Vampire Squid). Melodic, Technical, and Progressive music bringing forward a new style of music that fans of all genres can enjoy and appreciate.

Miles Dimitri Baker, as well as Aaron Stechauner met at age 15, and started playing music in several bands together. The idea for what has become “Interloper” was created around age 16. The first three songs, “A Red Letter Day”, “The Conjuration” and “Absolution pt.I” were written between then and age 18, now one year later, almost half a dozen other songs have been written that will be featured on Interloper’s debut album.

As Miles had begun touring with Ænimus, Aaron had already been touring with Abiotic, then shortly after leaving Abiotic, he joined up with Rings of Saturn. All the while Aaron had been filling in on drums for Ænimus on tours, as well as touring with Rings of Saturn.

At this point in time, Miles and Aaron agreed on the idea of having Lucas Mann join Interloper after a very short lived experience of Miles and Lucas writing together for another band.

KIERRA SHEARD

It’s one thing to be blessed with the voice of an angel. It’s another to unwaveringly direct that natural talent to inspire and uplift. Kierra Sheard is one of those gifted few.

“I just love singing,” says Sheard, a next generation member of gospel’s royal family The Clark Sisters. “Having such a gift that lets me express myself and inspire others is an amazing, fun thing. What more can you do or want? But at the same time, I’m always trying to make it bigger and better.”

Sheard does just that on the latest chapter in her blooming career, as seen with her fifth album entitled GRACELAND (Karew Records/Motown), July 22. As with her previous albums, beginning with 2004 standout debut I Owe You, the young singer/songwriter continues to deliver a seamless fusion of R&B/hip-hop and gospel intertwined with heartfelt lyrics extolling the wonder of God and what he can do. This time, however, Sheard gets more personal.

ToeJam_&_Earl

SEGA GENESIS “TOEJAM & EARL”

The GameMen puts a funky, rockin’ twist to your favorite video game tunes. They will be reuniting to play a classic video game soundtrack ToeJam & Earl.

ToeJam & Earl is an action game developed by Johnson Voorsanger Productions and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis console. Released in 1991, it centers on ToeJam and Earl—alien rappers who have crash-landed on Earth. As they attempt to escape the planet, players assume the role of either character and collect pieces of their wrecked spacecraft. ToeJam & Earl’s design was heavily influenced by the role-playing video game Rogue, and took from it such features as the random generation of levels and items. It references and parodies 1980s and early 90s urban culture and is set to a funk soundtrack.

The game was positively received by critics, who praised its originality, soundtrack, humor and two-player cooperative mode. It attained sleeper hit status despite low initial sales, and its protagonists were used as mascots by Sega. ToeJam & Earl was followed by two sequels: ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron and ToeJam & Earl III: Mission to Earth, released for the Sega Genesis and Xbox respectively. The sequels’ commercial and critical success was mixed. A fourth title, ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove, is currently in development with funds from Kickstarter. The game was re-released for the Wii’s Virtual Console in December 2006 and re-released again on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in November 2012.

AMAZONICA

If nothing ever changed, there’d be no butterflies” – if you haven’t heard the saying, don’t worry.

Just know that when it comes to London to L.A. Rock scene veteran Harry, truer words may have never been spoken…

For Harry, her mission to keep the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll alive and freshly beating takes a little tip from mother nature; sometimes you’ve got to strip everything back and start again. It’s about breaking free of that old industry-toggled exoskeleton, like you were slipping out of a pair of broken heels, and saying “fuck it, it’s time for something new!” Besides, adopting a glistening new skin never harmed anyone…unless you’re Buffalo Bill.

See, it’s with a tenacious and ever-evaluative process of preservation that allows Harry a little clarity on life and to continue being surrounded by everything she’s loved about music, both socially and sonically, since the age of 14. Really the question is, when you’ve released 2 albums and already been the face of a $30 million marketing campaign for Buy.com, the voice of a Rimmel commercial and been photographed by the legendary Mick Rock for a Playboy article (in which you’re already breaking tradition by being blonde and fully-clothed), where exactly do you go next?

Well, today, with a new name and a new sound, Harry aka. Dirty Harry aka. The Amazonica is the change the World’s been waiting for. She may have shed the custom-made Nine Inch Nails boiler suits and swapped the wild long blonde locks for something fashionably more “how do you do” but the girl’s still exploding with balls of attitude so big, she could wipe out an entire hemisphere with a single cough.

The proof is in the aural pudding…With The Amazonica comes a daring leap into new territory as far as Harry’s musical background is concerned, fusing a new-found love of DJing with her already familiar pop and rock wisdom, to create an electronic beast of colossal proportions.

It’s an exciting new direction for Harry and one she is more than ready to see successfully take flight.
After all, the one thing about rock ‘n’ roll that’ll never change, is the limitless freedom to do what ever we damn well please, darlings.

Tightwire

TIGHTWIRE

Tightwire formerly named “Drones” started as an acoustic project in 2015 by Paul Kettler. Through playing basement shows and opening for bands at The Triple Rock Social Club and Hexagon Kettler had met Parker Thompson and Tane Graves who joined in late 2016 to complete the three piece idea Kettler had intended all along. From 2016 – early 2018 the three had released two EPs on Bloated Kat Records under the name Drones.

In August of 2018 Toby Jeg (Red Scare Industries) had caught wind of the bands latest demos and offered to put out their first full length later that year. Due to a UK band already having the name “Drones” the band was asked by the label to think of a new name for the band which they did not do. Days before announcing the release of their record and the joining of Red Scare the band decided to start thinking of names most of which were rightfully rejected. Finally deciding on Tightwire after a day of listening to Tiltwheel. In an interview they express their dislike for the name stating “we just needed something that wasn’t already taken. Tightwire is a fine name, I guess. Whatever. If bands like Kiss and pull off a shitty band name, we can too.”

In late 2020, Kettler, decided to leave the band to pursue his masters degree, leaving Thompson and Graves to put off finding a new guitar player for at least a year. Procrastination seems to be a Tightwire tradition.

Finally in July of 2021 the band booked and announced shows with a new line-up. Graves taking over lead vocals and bass, Mullaney and Stolp on guitars, and Thompson still on drums.

In a podcast (They Come To America) Graves announces the band would be releasing their second full length album in early 2023 through Redscare featuring himself and Stolp on lead vocals.

Salvacion

SALVACION

Salvación began as the brainchild of drummer Carlos Denogean. Eager not only to pay tribute to classic Heavy Metal but to play a part in keeping the tradition alive and vital as well. The band formed in 2009 when childhood friend and guitarist Nicholas Sponsel moved to Wilmington North Carolina with the same ambitions. Enlisting the help of some of the most talented musicians in the area they set out to have their vision realized. Despite lineup changes the core of the group remained and in less than three years self-released two full length albums and played numerous shows with some of the best internationally known Heavy Metal bands. In 2013 they set out on their most ambitious project yet, a concept record inspired by Hernán Cortés and the conquest of Mexico. Identifying with the historical figure’s unwavering conviction for his goal the record is a monument to the band’s steadfast resolution for Heavy Metal. The year 2013 also marked the return of Lead guitarist Dan Todd who contributed immensely on the band’s well received second album Way More Unstoppable. The alchemy of this lineup is the strongest it has ever been and they are determined now more than ever to keep defending the faith of True Heavy Metal.

Craig Gerdes Band

CRAIG GERDES BAND

Craig Gerdes is a singer whose voice is steadied by the legion of angels he believes watch over him. He tells stories at a Southern pace, with a soft voice and slow drawl. His new album Smokin, Drinkin, and Gamblin is full of outlaw country rug cutters, and ballads about strong heads and weak hearts. Fueled by nostalgia, his songwriting talent turns old habits into dependable crutches, and nurses the phantom pain of missing lovers.

Though he hails from rural Illinois, his sound is four-on-the-floor, old-school, San Marcos, Texas-style honky tonk. His work is reminiscent of greats like Leon Payne, George Strait, Jim Lauderdale and James McMurtry. As great songwriters often do, he spent time as a writer in Nashville, where he had some success, and learned that his songs were too country for the cosmopolitan elite.

“Redneck Sonsabitches” eloquently details the story of his Nashville experience, one that put him in front of great outlaw songwriter Billie Joe Shaver. Shaver laughed with him about the difficult road honest songwriters sometimes face on Music Row, and asked him if he’d ever been to Texas. Another man of faith, Shaver ensured Gerdes they’d meet again, and three years later Gerdes opened a show for him outside La Grange. The song he penned about it is a swaggerin’ chicken-pickin’ electric two stepper. The band careens through a tempo change where he namechecks Shaver, who told him “Son, I know just how you feel,” before he remembers what record companies remarked about his work—”You long haired redneck sonsabitches are not wanted here in Nashville, Tennessee.”

Gerdes began playing country music at the age of 10 in the band of his father, who, as a child, would crowd around the radio with his family waiting for the wind to blow in just the right direction so they could pick up the faint signal from the Grand Ole Opry. The songs his father loved—by country icons like George Jones, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash—provided the foundation for Craig’s work. By age 12, he was already a capable songwriter and musician. And by 16, he’d wandered from the narrow path. “In the same summer,” he recalls, “I totaled my car, broke my best friend’s neck, dropped out of high school, got arrested and got married.”

A few years later, after a chance meeting with a Nashville band, Gerdes wound up living on Music Row. For a time, he literally slept on the floor of a studio where greats like George Jones and Jerry Reed had recorded, a place that’s now a one bedroom apartment. “I was hoping to soak up some of that mojo,” he jokes about harder times. While Gerdes was able to gain traction with a publishing company and even do some co-writing, his traditional songs just didn’t fit in. After years of the seven-hour commute back and forth from his family in unincorporated Pattonsburg, Illinois. (pop. 348), every weekend, he decided to go his own way, leaving Nashville behind and returning full-time to rural life. During this point in his life, while Gerdes was on a hiatus from songwriting to concentrate on raising his kids, his 16-year-old cousin was killed in a car wreck. He was compelled to write again by an angel he believes is her.

Many of Gerdes’ songs embody the life of the traveler. While listening to the radio on a trip, he heard the story of a man found cut up in a box and was inspired to write the murder ballad “Dead In A Box In Kentucky.” There’s a Spanish guitar solo during the bridge that dances into a climactic finish that concludes with a Hitchcockian fratricidal twist. Gerdes’ voice is at its strongest on “Almost To Alabama,” where he’s joined by dobro, imagining the end of the road, and distant lovers. The title track, “Smokin’ Drinkin’ Gamblin'” is another song only a road-weary rambler could write. It’s the apex of country music, where the rhythm section leads in a thudding backbeat, and steel guitar has room to wander all over the beat, while Gerdes moans about “ramblin’ my young life away.”

Gerdes sings a mean cheatin’ song as well. His ribald song “Learned From The Best” and his cover of Johnny Paycheck’s “Slide Off Of Your Satin Sheets” bookend the album, the latter a fitting choice—on the surface, Paycheck’s lyrics are about an illicit affair, but under the covers it’s about class distinction; the sleek countrypolitan image the music industry creates, and the actual people they use to make the music they desire.

While Gerdes’ songs about smokin’, drinkin’ and gamblin’ aren’t necessarily gospel fare he is for certain “spreading the gospel of country music.” His experiences and his angels guard him from writing songs “with no heart or soul.” Rarely has classic barroom country been so crossover capable. Give it a listen and you, too, will believe.

Dallas Moore

DALLAS MOORE BAND

Dallas Moore’s old-school country sound developed honestly, following over 20 years of sharing stages and studios with his honky-tonk heroes. Satellite radio support, paired with a willingness to perform over 300 shows a year, finds the seasoned veteran positioned to reach the Americana masses with his forthcoming album Mr. Honky Tonk.

Tastemakers have taken note already, with the Dallas Moore Band crowned the Ameripolitan Music Awards’ 2017 Outlaw Group of the Year. The award came after three prior nominations for the band No Depression credits with bringing “hangovers and excitement to outlaw country fans everywhere.”

Recent career strides caught the attention of producer/country-music heavyweight Dean Miller, son of Roger Miller and an accomplished songwriter himself, having penned tunes with George Jones, Hank Williams III, Jamey Johnson and more. Miller entered Baird Music Group’s Nashville studio with Moore and his band to record what was originally planned to be a five-song EP. “Out of all the things we’ve ever done, I think Dean captured what I do way better than anyone else we’ve ever worked with,” Moore says. “It was the best recording experience I ever had.”

The EP turned album after its barnstorming title track—a song Moore actually wrote 20 years prior—gained serious traction on Sirius XM satellite radio’s Outlaw Country channel. The album’s other tunes came more recently, all of them written in the past year and a half, making them clearer snapshots of how sharing stages (and rounds of shots) with his country-music idols has impacted his songwriting. “In the last several years, I’ve been real blessed to tour with a lot of my songwriting influences, and they’ve helped me improve my craft,” Moore says. “Guys like Dean Dillon, Billy Joe Shaver and Ray Wylie Hubbard have been so supportive. It’s really cool when your heroes become your friends, and that’s what happened in the past several years.”

Moore’s stage show—already seen in years past by fans of Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard The Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd—has improved with every opportunity to open for an iconic country or Southern-rock artist. “If you’re playing in the slot before Dean Dillon,” Moore says, “You’d better not suck.”

Another crew of country luminaries performed on the album, including harmonica legend Mickey Raphael (Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Chris Stapleton), famed Nashville session bassist Michael Rhodes and pedal-steel master Steve Hinson. “We walked in to the studio and saw all of these incredible players lined up,” Moore says. “I thought they were there to play with someone else!”

Even with such ample backing, the main attraction on Mr. Honky Tonk is still Moore and his deft skill as a songwriter and lyricist. Like so many of his inspirations, he’s an ace at spinning relatable stories. On “Killing Me Nice and Slow,” he weaves an impactful tale of lost love (“It’s a long way down when you’re higher than a Georgia pine on love and whiskey the night before / Then you hear the slamming of the door”). From there, Moore puts his spin on time-tested country tropes such as celebrating place (“Texahio,” a nod to splitting time between Texas and his native Cincinnati) and balancing Saturday-night hellraising with Sunday-morning God praising (“Shoot Out the Lights”).

Moore’s mother—a bluegrass and gospel performer herself—bought her son his first guitar when he was 16 years old. Before that, sports had been his first priority. “My big claim to fame back in those days—one year I beat out Ken Griffey Jr. for the most home runs in the league,” Moore says. “But then I got a guitar the next year, and I quit—I walked away as a winner!”

A few years later, Moore enrolled at Northern Kentucky University to study jazz and classical guitar. But he found his true calling in a less high-brow environment around the same time, performing on the local bar scene in a country house band. Multi-night stints playing classic covers set a precedent for the Dallas Moore Band’s sound and unrelenting tour schedule. And Moore’s gruff vocals have made him an ideal singer of songs about hard luck and harder living as far back as his 1991 debut LP, My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys.

Once Mr. Honky Tonk arrives in February, expect Moore to play nonstop in support of his new album. He played a whopping 327 shows in 2017, and that was without an album to promote. Who knows, he might just play solo or with his band every single night in 2018.
The Dark Horse Rider album featuring 10 new Dallas Moore originals was released on Sol Records in January of 2015. The Dallas Moore Band was nominated for Outlaw Group of the Year at the 2016 Ameripolitan Music Awards in Austin,Texas and for Country Artist of the Year and Singer/Songwriter of the year at the 2016 CEA Awards in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Moore’s next release, a live acoustic album of new original music titled DALLAS MOORE: LIVE AT THE BULLITT COUNTY JAIL is slated for release in October 2016 on SOL Records.

Dallas Moore’s music is featured regularly on SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Outlaw Country Channel 60, CMT.com, Yallwire.com and terrestrial AM/FM radio in America, Canada, Europe, Australia and Brazil. You’ll also find Moore profiled in the book “Outlaws Still At Large!” by author Neil Alexander Hamilton along with Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Blackberry Smoke, Wayne Mills & more.

The Kahless Clone

THE KAHLESS CLONE

The Kahless Clone is an instrumental band that forges the vibe of dark metal, with the sonic landscape and emotional buildups of post-rock. This project was started by Vito Marchese of the Chicago based dark metal band Novembers Doom, as an outlet for some of the instrumental songs he had been writing. The first EP An Endless Loop was released in March of 2015, and was well received by critics and fans. The release of the second EP titled Our Never-ending Loneliness brings an evolution of sound and songwriting. Some progressive elements have been brought in, while still keeping the dark atmosphere that enveloped the debut release. This new EP shows the return of Ben Johnson, Zach Libbe, and Garry Naples, while bringing in Larry Roberts on bass. Recording and mixing was done at Belle City Sound in Racine, WI by Chris Wisco, who was able to once again capture the mood and atmosphere of the songs. Mastering was handled by Collin Jordan at The Boiler Room in Chicago, IL, who raised the sonic intensity of the tracks. Mario Salazar’s photography was able to visually depict the mindset brought on by the music. The group is currently seeking opportunities for shows and tours to help promote their newest release.

In late 1995, Shaun LaCanne joined Numskull and had a 5 year reign of terror with the likes of Tom Bradner (Guitar), Paul Benigno (Vocals), Mike Eisenhauer (Bass), and Scott Creekmore (Drums). We went through a couple of lineup changes introducing Mark Page (Bass), and later Ryan Schaefer (Bass). Due to some circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Numskull split up. Hence the birth of Putrid Pile. Frustrated with Numskull’s breakup, i, (Shaun) had to press on and be a part of the sickness that is the underground! Knowing already what I wanted, I immediately picked up a drum machine and started writing intense, sick and twisted guttural death metal. By the end of 2000, Putrid Pile had enough material for a 5-song demo. Early in 2001, Putrid Pile went to Mercenary Digital Studios to record the demo and entitled it “Bleed For Me”. The first time it was ever released into public hands was at Milwaukee Metalfest 2001. It received a great response from the people who received a copy. Shortly afterwards Putrid Pile concentrated on live shows and getting as much publicity as possible. Putrid Pile continued to play gigs mercilessly and whore out free “Bleed For Me” demos to anyone who would take one in the US and around the world. The demo received many awesome reviews and continued to get a great response in the underground from bands, zines, webzines, radio stations and fans. The shockwaves of the release of the Bleed For Me demo are still being felt to this day! Eventually, Putrid Pile caught the ear of United Guttural Records and signed a one record deal with them. After the signing, Putrid Pile went into strict writing mode. Writing a total of seven more songs, along with the five songs from the demo, to record the first full length, “Collection Of Butchery” to be released in early 2003. “Collection Of Butchery”, is the sickest material that Putrid Pile has done to date with awesome artwork and excellent /professional production. In 2005 Putrid Pile recorded their sophmore CD entitled “The Pleasure In Suffering” that was released on Gorgiastic Records. This twelve track release recieved rave reviews in magazines such as Metal Maniacs and the like. Also, many of the tracks have gotten massive airplay and requests on loads of college radio stations across the nation and the world. With some of the classic cuts on the disc being, “Food for the Maggots”, “My Inner Demon” and Rush-Hour Killing Spree to blast your eardrums into oblivion. Who wouldnt be interested?! In May 2009 Putrid Pile released the Junior CD of the band entitled “House Of Dementia” on Sevared Records and is the bands best material to date! With guitar solos and monster riffing, it crushes the senses and grinds your eardrums to a pulp! This album is sure to be one of the best releases of 2009 and a must have for fans of the extreme metal genre. This release also helped the band to get such great endorsement deals from the best companies in the business such as, Jackson Guitars, Spectraflex Original Braided Cables, and Vader Cabinets. Keep an eye out for this release for it will be sure not to disappoint! In the future, Putrid Pile plans to stay a one-man-band, and continue to progress and keep making quality extreme Death Metal for the masses. Still keeping the original vision in mind, but not turning my back on the idea of change. The new material is a little more technical, then “Collection”, but still has the insane hooks of old and new school Death Metal that fans of the band have come to know and love. There’s no stopping Putrid Pile in 2009 and beyond. Be expecting to see awesome and intense live shows and many more full lengths to come!

Seet

SEET

We are Seet, a psychedelic progressive rock band from the Chicagoland area.

Seet started in the Fall of 2012. Taking influences from old school psychedelia and progressive rock, their music spans genres. Their stage presence is heavy hitting; screaming guitars, booming rhythmic drums and DEEP bass. Drawing influences from bands such as Yes, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath, Seet continues to develop its sound through the years and is optimistic about the future.

The sound created by the dynamics of this four-piece band is a combination of dripping wet lead guitar, intricate progressions through rhythmic guitar, pure choral vocals, thumping thunder-like bass, and last but not least, pounding classic Rock-N-Roll percussion. Seet is here to bring the heavy, deep jams.

Matt Heckler

MATT HECKLER

Having played guitar since age eleven, I began writing my own songs for the first time in freshman year of high school, and playing open mics. I played on and off with various punk bands through high school, but those bands came and went. Now performing solo, as well as playing guitar in indie rock band Dangerpaw. I have been writing for as long as I can remember, and have been doing it professionally since the middle of 2012, having covered topics as wide ranging as baseball, sci-fi, teen culture, and literature.
