SHORTSTOP FROM TOKYO
Fun times are a priority with Brookfield’s best (and probably only) ska band. SFT started with Jeff, Kyle, and Ken in 2005 and has grown to a five member ska outfit. Solid guitars, clean vocals, and tight horn riffs, provided by Austin and Maddi, lay the backbone for fun tracks and one hell of a live show. Join us in making ska more than just an underground scene once again!

SHOTGUN GAMBLING
Hitting up bars and coughing up tar, Shotgun Gambling is coming at you like that mortgage you gambled away on the roulette table. Shotgun combines the energy from a dirty punk rock basement with the atmosphere of a high class biker car. With a wide range of punk and rockabilly influences, varying from Cock Sparrer, Stray Cats, Zero Boys, and Dropkick Murphys, what may seem like just a punk rock band is more than it appears to be. Shotgun’s biggest influence is old school rock and roll, with influences like Del Shannon, Frankie Valli, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. When you go to a Shotgun Gambling show, you’ll never know what to expect, but make sure you bring your dancing shoes- and a pack of band-aids.

SIDERUNNERS
Veterans of the Chicago punk music scene, these musicians seamlessly cross genres. To see the Siderunners live is a lesson in grit, determination, and above all stamina. With a healthy respect for tradition, this unconventional lineup remembers what was best about music, and the kind of music that has endured over the years.
SIDEWALK CHALK
Chicago’s Sidewalk Chalk is the evolution of hip-hop, soul, and jazz.
This emcee, singer, trio of keys, bass, and drums, horn section of trumpet and trombone, and tap-dancer are packaged into sounds that you’ve quite possibly never heard before. The legend Sam Cooke once sang, “Change is Gonna Come.” Musically, change is already here. Sidewalk Chalk has toured the US upon the heels of the release of their debut full-length album, “Corner Store” (released in March of 2012 and co-produced with Greg Magers of Lupe Fiasco’s The Cool), consistently proving themselves worthy of a listen with their electric live show. They’re sure to satisfy the cravings of anyone in love with music and hungry for something different.
Sidewalk Chalk was named “Most Outstanding Band” of 2012 at the Chicago Music Awards, and “Best Hip-Hop Act in Chicago of 2010″ by the Chicago Reader. The group’s Emcee, Rico Sisney, represented Chicago at the 2012 World Expo in Shanghai, China. They’ve been featured on CBS News Online, Ruby Hornet, SoulBounce, 2dopeboyz, and Guest of a Guest Los Angeles. Additionally, Sidewalk Chalk has shared the stage with De La Soul, Company of Thieves, J*Davey, ?uestlove of The Roots, and Action Bronson. Globally, they’ve had their album re-released in Japan by P-Vine Records, and have had an international ad placement with Black & Mild.
So, wake up world and meet the rest of us at the “Corner Store.” We’ll be out front with Sidewalk Chalk.

SCREECHING WEASEL
Conceived and birthed in the homogenous suburbs of Chicago, Screeching Weasel have been at it for almost forty years.Formed in 1986 by lead singer/songwriter Benjamin Foster—who soon took the nom de plume Ben Weasel—Screeching Weasel’s first, self-titled album earned airplay on John Peel’s radio show, a glowing review in NME, and a 10/10 in Sounds. 1988’s BoogadaBoogadaBoogada, released on a small bedroom label out of Chicago, immediately went into heavy rotation on every turntable in the punk universe. It remains the band’s best-selling album and a staple of the punk diet.Boogada caught the attention of Lookout Records, who made the band their first signing from outside the San Francisco Bay Area. My Brain Hurts, released in 1991, cemented the band’s status as one of the premier bands of the pop-punk genre, along with labelmates Green Day and the Queers.
