SACRAMENTUM was formed by Nisse Karlén (vocals/guitar) in the summer of 1990 under the name of Tumulus. After a short period of time Anders Brolycke joined in on guitar and an apocalyptic seed of creative outburst had started to grow. The first official recording were made in the end of 1992 and just before the release of the demotape called “Sedes Impiorum” the band name was changed to SACRAMENTUM. In February 1994 SACRAMENTUM went to Unisound Studio and recorded the self-financed five track promo-CD “Finis Malorum”, which was re-released by Adipocere Records about one year later. “Finis Malorum” established the band firmly in the world-wide black/death metal underground scene. People got their eyes open for SACRAMENTUM and realised that the band was a force to reckon with. During 1994 SACRAMENTUM went through some line-up changes and Nicklas Rudolfsson (Runemagick, Heavydeath, The Funeral Orchestra) joined in on drums and Nisse shifted from six to four strings. With this three-piece line-up SACRAMENTUM went back to Unisound in June 1995 to record their full-length debut. It was entitled “Far Away From the Sun” and wasn’t released by Adipocere Records until June 1996. In spring 1997 SACRAMENTUM signed with Century Media Records. The second full-length album ”The Coming Of Chaos” was recorded in June 1997. In September 1998 SACRAMENTUM recorded the third album “Thy Black Destiny”.
Deron Miller gives his life to the riff. Unrestrained by industry expectations and genre limitations, the boundlessly prolific guitarist and voice behind multiple beloved projects is best known as the founder, frontman, and songwriter in CKY. His authentic and effortlessly hooky heavy rock obsession returns with 96 BITTER BEINGS. Reinvigorated and ready to rumble all over again, Miller roars back with the same reverence for riffage that made underground hits out of CKY anthems like “Flesh Into Gear,” “Escape from Hellview,” and “Disengage the Simulator” from 1998 till 2011.
“After CKY and a short break, I decided to continue, without changing the sound,” Miller explains. “Because that’s what I do. It’s what I love to do and what people say I do well. All of the guys who got in the band with me are great musicians. And each of them is hungry. They have priorities and ambitions about being in a rock band, no matter the grim state of pop music out there. If we can bring rock and metal back to the mainstream, in some way, that’s the dream.”
In 2022, 96 BITTER BEINGS unleash the long-awaited Synergy Restored.

St. Louis honkytonk rock ‘n’ roll act The Fighting Side is making waves throughout the Midwest, and the status quo of country music has been given notice.
Frontman Brad Jackson makes it all clear. “Each one of us has been doing this for a long time, but in different musical realms. Some of us cut teeth on punk rock, some of us on bluegrass or surf rock, and I’m a traditional country guy with a long punk rock history it all matters.” The styles each member contributes is distinct, but the resulting sound is something altogether innovative, yet familiar in the way that defines songs you can’t get out of your head. Screaming telecaster lead guitar from David Newman and the walking bass lines of Ben Gastman, combined with Jackson’s deep baritone growl, say it’s something between country music and southern rock, while the punk/blues backbone from behind the kit of Timmy Kendrick and the guitar of Seth Barnhart transform the output into something that’s really not country music at all.
The songs this act delivers, hard-hitting in both arrangement and lyrical content, are the carefully crafted art pieces of a group that clearly has a formula down pat. “Seth and I have been friends since 5th grade”, says Jackson, “so there’s a definite element of understanding between us. Sometime I deliver an idea, a one liner or a melody that’s been banging around in my head, and it’s like he just automatically knows where I’m heading with it. That makes it easy, and we take those ideas to the full band and watch them grow as each of us adds a piece of ourselves to the tunes. Having the incredibly cool lineup that we have is the secret recipe Everybody in the band writes the songs together.” And while the songs are the heart of this act, the banter and the obvious clout and decades of experience they display on stage are the edge.
While working on a new album (hopefully hitting in mid-2024), The Fighting Side is currently touring on their sophomore release Hellbent on Hardtimes, available on iTunes, Spotify, and wherever you buy music online.
When this act comes to town, you put your damn pants on and go see what honkytonk insurgent rebel rock ‘n’ roll looks like if you know what’s good for you.

Tommy Newport is a British-American singer known for his infectious falsetto-steeped indie anthems. He first garnered buzz with his 2018 debut, Just To Be Ironic, while he was still a teenager. Newport continued to develop his sound, releasing 2019’s Tommy Gun EP and 2021’s Ultra Mango EP and Liquid EP. He’s received plenty of critical acclaim along the way from The FADER, Complex, Hypebeast, High Snobiety, Pigeons & Planes, PAPER, Lyrical Lemonade, COLORS & more. At only 21 years old, Tommy’s already toured extensively across North America & Europe, been championed by legendary tastemakers like Zane Lowe & Giles Peterson, and collaborated with Grammy nominees EARTHGANG. Born Oliver Milmine in northern England, Newport moved to the United States at a young age, eventually settling in Kansas. There, he picked up the guitar and taught himself how to produce music on his computer. Inspired by a mix of early-2000s bands like MGMT, the Killers, and Phoenix, he developed his own funky, psychedelic style of pop, framing his falsetto vocals in bass, guitar, keyboards, and electronic grooves. He quickly released an impressive catalog independently. More tracks followed, as did musical placements on shows like Search Party, Ballers, Expecting Amy, an Apple iPad commercial and What/If.

Hailing from Long Island, NY, Jared Cowen (Guitar/Vocals), Scott Reill (Bass/Vocals), and Jager Soss (Drums/Vocals) showcase their energetic and improvisational talents, transforming their three-piece sound into a symphonic experience. The band had a groundbreaking year in 2022, performing over 120 concerts across the United States and making their debut in Canada. As 2023 unfolds, their success is set to soar even higher.
Kicking off the year with an electrifying show supporting the Disco Biscuits, Baked Shrimp embarked on a massive headlining Spring Tour. The trio is also slated to make their festival debuts at prestigious events like Peach Music Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival, Strange Creek Camp Out, and Northlands Live. In July, they will take the main stage at their hometown event, the Great South Bay Music Festival, where they will share the spotlight with Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead. Blankslate was founded in 2018 by college roommates Em, Tess and Rylee after the trio transferred to the University of Denver from different schools. In the beginning, they practiced in a storage closet in the basement of their dorm and played small coffee shop and open mic gigs around DU before graduating to Denver’s club scene.
After releasing an EP, ‘{thursday},’ in 2020, Blankslate’s debut album, ‘Summer on a Salt Flat,’ was released with a sellout show at Goosetown Tavern on October 28, 2022.
‘Summer on a Salt Flat’s lead single, “Bell Station,” debuted on Indie 102.3 ahead of the album, and the band was named to the station’s Best of Local 303 list at the end of the year by listeners.
Blankslate will embark on the ‘Summer on a Salt Flat Tour’ beginning with a west coast run in summer 2023.
The driving principle behind Blankslate is transformation; a belief in the possibility to become. By culling elements of disparate influences ranging from folk to grunge to classic rock, the band crafted a sound that is uniquely their own and serves as the tapestry upon which referential, diaristic lyrics and stories are interwoven.

Air Traffic Controller have created a place all their own in the indie pop world.
Serving in the US Navy as an air traffic controller, singer/songwriter Dave Munro sent home demos written during deployment. This was chapter one for ATC. In the decade that followed, Dave built a legacy for crafting heartfelt, luscious and genuine indie-folk-pop songs that are timeless and classic. The band emerged from the Boston scene releasing 4 critically applauded albums and touring the U.S. and U.K. with an evolving band, now solidified by drummer Adam Salameh, bassist Joe Campbell, guitarist Bobby Borenstein, vocalist/keytarist Emi McSwain, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Scott.
They took their time writing and demoing their fifth album, and the listeners have not left their side. Streaming to over 360 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify alone, ATC launches their new album, entitled “Dash”. Recording throughout the pandemic the team met several delays and hardships, but continued collaborating, remotely at times, to bring the next chapter of ATC to its debut. On the new album you will hear the band together in Dimension Sound Studios with Boston producer/ engineer Dan Cardinal (Darlingside, Henry Jamison, Josh Ritter, Ballroom Thieves) along with longtime ATC collaborators Seth Kasper and Adrian Aiello. The goal was not to match up with past ATC albums, or to meet some expectation, in fact, ATC’s formulas were often set aside in an effort to search from within each member. However, if you have loved anything by ATC, the stories, charm, nostalgia, hooks, Dash will pull you in from the opening line “It was chapter one”, and take you on a beautiful ride.
Air Traffic Controller have achieved a lot over their career: NPR Hot 100 List, Billboard Hot 100 Fest, Guardian UK Band of the Day, Alt Nation support, Independent Music Awards, as well as film, TV, video game, promo placements, airplay all over the world. The first single, “Sometimes”, was released well ahead of the album, during the pandemic, with its chorus coincidentally striking a chord with listeners – “I need to make it right, but this is not a good time”. From lead-singer Dave Munro : “Sometimes” is about a real relationship. There was so much I wanted to say when it ended, but it was already over and probably for the best. I wanted to tell that person how much I cared, how I was affected, but I remained silent. I made excuses to myself, I was so busy, it was never a good time. Sometimes we bottle our emotions in order to move forward. This song was my way of removing the cap.
ATC’s category-defying organic/electronic sound, and ability to connect with all types of listeners. has kept them on everyone’s radar. They were Billboard Hot 100 Fest performers with The Weeknd and Justin Bieber, placed on the NPR Hot 100 List for SXSW, named Guardian UK Band of the Day, won Best Indie Alternative Song for “You Know Me” in the Independent Music Awards, and have several songs with millions of streams on Spotify. ATC’s music has been licensed by Bose, MTV, NBC, ABC, Disney, Verizon, Toyota, and many more.
The band has played Sundance with ASCAP and performed on their first Sixthman Rock Boat cruise with bands like Bronze Radio Return, Jukebox The Ghost, and Michael Franti. An Official act at SXSW, ATC has played showcases for McDonalds, the Grammy Museum, and was featured on Jeff Regan’s Alt Nation playlist of bands to watch.
The official music video for “The House” won Improper Bostonian’s “Boston’s Best” Music Video, as well as a New England Music Award for Best Video. The House was also named Best Video by Boston Magazine, played in rotation on MTVU, MTV2, and on the homepage of Funny Or Die.
Support for ATC has come in from all over. Vanyaland calls them an evolution forward featuring “crafty alt-pop, an expansion of depth and sound, catchy hooks.” One Stop Record Shop in the UK states “equal parts fascinating and brilliant” while “combining flecks of CHVRCHES with the indie vibes of Pulp and a smattering of Death Cab For Cutie.”
Songs from ATC have been featured by Gary Vaynerchuk in the Daily Vee, EA Sports NHL, the UK’s top reality show Made In Chelsea. At radio, WXRV and WERS have multiple songs in rotation, songs have been played on Top 40 Mix 93.3 in Kansas City, KX 93.5 in Laguna CA, KCSN & KXLU Los Angeles, WLCA Illinois, WHSN Maine, KXTE Los Vegas, KTCL Colorado and more.
