SPEEDFREAK
Speedfreak is a Chicago-based heavy metal band, formed in the summer of 2006. Founding members Kevin (guitars) and Tom (vocals) solidified their rhythm section with Balow (drums) and Dirty Steve (bass) in 2008, and haven’t looked back since. Their blend of the old-school songwriting styles of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Black Sabbath and the heavier styles of more modern bands like Pantera, Metallica and Black Label Society has earned them a loyal following all over the Chicago area. After putting out a series of demos and an EP, they released their first full-length album, “Loaded”, in the summer of 2012, and followed up with the “Baptized In Gasoline” EP in 2013. They are currently playing all over the Midwest, including opening slots in support of national bands like Shadows Fall, Kill Devil Hill, Black Water Rising, & Texas Hippie Coalition; and hope to tour in the near future. So roll with them or get run over, either way they’ll see you on the road!

SQUIRTGUN
Squirtgun was formed in 1993 by renowned punk producer Mass Giorgini (Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Anti-Flag). Bassist Mass Giorgini, a 9-year veteran of Chicago punk legends Screeching Weasel and founding member of Common Rider (alongside Operation Ivy singer Jesse Michaels), enlisted the drummer from the same band, Dan Lumley–who was also a founding member of Rise Against, his brother, guitarist Flav Giorgini, and singer Matt Hart. Squirtgun’s “Social” was chosen as the opening track for the film Kevin Smith film “Mallrats,” starring Ben Affleck and Claire Forlani. The video for the Squirtgun song “Mary Ann” reached MTV’s top 40 alternative videos, and the video for their song “Burn for You” reached the top 40 videos on MTV Europe. Because of the influence of the members of Squirtgun in foundational pop-punk bands, they have consistently benefitted from the support of such pop punk legends as Green Day and Blink-182.

As a spiritual descendent of iconic women in rock such as Patti Smith and Joan Jett, ZouZou’s Philadelphia-based band also embodies elements of kindred spirits of the ’90s and beyond – like PJ Harvey and The Kills, with more than a sprinkling of ’60s Garage Rock and Soul. Their primal sonic attack spreads a message of perseverance through trials of love, loss and letting go.

SLOPPY SECONDS
Sloppy Seconds is a Ramones/Dickies-influenced punk band from Indianapolis that started in the mid-1980s. With such underground hits as “Come Back, Traci” (a tribute to an underaged Traci Lords), “I Want ’em Dead”, and “So Fucked up”, the band prefers to sing about such topics as pornography, classic horror movies, old TV shows, comic books, alcohol, being fat, and getting drunk. They have been quoted as being proud to be fat, drunk, and stupid. Their name is the slang term for when a man has intercourse with another person who already has received another man’s semen in the relevant orifice.
