VOODOO GLOW SKULLS
In their 24 years of existence, the Voodoo Glow Skulls have an impressive list of achievements. 9 albums, one million records sold, appearances in exotic locations like Brazil and Japan as well as the creation of a record store, record label, recording studio and a music venue attests to the remarkable creativity and energy of the band. Formed in 1988, Voodoo Glow Skulls meshed hardcore punk, traditional ska, tough guitar riffs and the Mexican music of their roots to create the prototype for the West Coast ska-core sound. Unflinchingly honest, their songs often used humor to comment on harsh political realities – from racial inequity to unrest overseas. Singing in both Spanish and English, Voodoo Glow Skulls’ bilingual musical tradition has been a hallmark of the band since they began.
The core of the band since the beginning has been the three Casillas brothers, Frank, Eddie and Jorge. With a list of accomplishments that might make some bands ready to slow their pace, the band shows no signs of slowing down. Voodoo Glow Skulls dubbed their sound “California street music” – a perfect description of their high octane mix of rock, punk, ska and hardcore.
Voodoo Glow Skulls 9th studio album “Break the Spell” was released on January 17th on Smelvis Records and is available now!

VORTIS
Vortis is an ultra-concentrated, old-school explosion of second wave punk rock ruckus. Their sub-two minute songs epitomize Chicago punk rock and feature all of the hooks with with none of the frills.
If playing the sub-sub-genre game, this Chicago three-piece belongs in the punk-before-industrialization section next to bands like Naked Raygun, Dwarves, and Hüsker Dü. This trio requires no coasts for their wave of punk rock, only those big throaty guitars and throat-shredding vocals with pointed messages anxiously crafted for the latest round of geopolitical oblivion.

WACO BROTHERS
“I’ve never been able to find a live band in New York as consistently thrilling and funny and fun as the Waco Brothers.” —Author and former Chicagoan Sarah Vowell interview on the Chicagoist.
Ladies and gentlemen, quite possibly the best live rock band on the planet. We’ve seen them a hundred and sixty seven times, and the Waco Brothers never fail to entertain with their train wreck approach to country. Subtlety is for the weak, so they’ve chosen the path of optimum mayhem and tomfoolery. In their rollicking career, they have been called everything from the flagship act of the alternative country “movement” to pure butchery. Both are likely to be correct.
The line-up, in case you haven’t been paying attention: Jon Langford (Mekons, Pine Valley Cosmonauts), Joe Camarillo, Alan Doughty (Jesus Jones), Deano (Dollar Store, Wreck) and Tracy Dear (World’s Greatest Living Englishman).
In a world of corporate-sponsored tours by lame-o alt-rockers complaining about their hotel suites and “country” stars who owe more to Boston than Bakersfield, the Wacos go out every night and play as if their lives depended on it. Their shows at SXSW and CMJ are legendary, and every year threaten to actually collapse under the weight of their runaway brilliance. If you’re not drunk, sweaty and out of money at the end of one of their shows, then brother, we pity you.
“…and dancers of all stripes jumped into the uproar on the tiny platform of a stage, seemingly destroying the barrier between band and audience. As the last bits of the tumultuous sound faded away, the crowd picked up the slack, cheering with all their might. A feeling of exhilaration permeated the air, leaving all assembled smiling the knowing smile. They’d been to rock & roll nirvana, and life just couldn’t be any better.” —Austin Chronicle SXSW
Their mix of hellfire country and mournful punk truly inspire. They are working to save music so you don’t have to.
“The band’s songbook is filled with political parables fused to a lost highway aesthetic and loads of black humor… pass the bottle and turn up the jukebox.” —Time Out Chicago
“What makes the band a force to behold live is their refusal of subtlety. With three lead singers, a three-guitar lineup and a punk rock rhythm section, the band commits at a high level and rarely relents.” —The Daily Herald
“The Wacos infuse lefty outrage into rollicking roots songs that lambaste Bush, Christian conservatives, commercial radio, and society in general enough to please any political hardcore band.” —Onion A.V. Club

WARBRINGER
Modern thrash titans WARBRINGER are thrilled to announce their highly anticipated new album, Wrath And Ruin, out March 14, 2025 via Napalm Records. With 20 years of history and millions of cross platform streams in their wake, ‘best of the year’ nods from the likes of Loudwire and Consequence on 2020’s Weapons Of Tomorrow, and now gearing up for a massive European tour with Decapitated and Cryptopsy this spring, WARBRINGER is poised for their next global assault with their seventh full-length studio release.
On Wrath And Ruin, WARBRINGER continues their furious assault against the powers that be with eight new explosive rippers lyrically focused on inspiring listeners to recognize strength in numbers and actualize their class power. VEKTOR
Alone in an arid, desolate terrain – known to Earth Humans as Arizona, part of the United States Federation – a hominid-type creature named David DiSanto felt a growing shift in his consciousness. He was seeking something, something he could not find… a break from the mediocrity of the stagnant heavy metal landscape. This need began to consume him – searching through endless record bins and compilations, desperately seeking the type of sounds that resonated from within his cranial cavity. All was in vain. The repetition began to eat at his mind.
Faced with the mundane, he chose to reject the ways of feeble earth minds, and realized his mission – to cease his search, and create a new voice within heavy metal. VEKTOR was born.
It was Earth Year 2002, of the Common Era.
The early years were bleak. David was alone. But, this did not deter him. He began writing songs and composed demos. He enlisted the help of a drummer, Willy Redshaw, to provide percussion on these early efforts. The first demo, “Nucleus”, was self-released in 2003.
Soon, a new handful of brave earth beings joined him in the pursuit of his mission. They brought their unique skills and individual views. As time wore on, most these brave men were moved to other missions.
During this period of change, two more demos were released: “Demolition” in 2006, and “Hunger for Violence” in 2007.
Through the dust, however, three individuals shone through as true cosmonauts crucial to the next phase of the mission. These men were Erik Nelson, Blake Anderson, and Frank Chin.
Together, they recorded Vektor’s first full-length album, “Black Future”, which was released in 2009 on Heavy Artillery Records.
Ever forging ahead, Vektor’s second full-lenght album, “Outer Isolation”, was released in 2011 on Heavy Artillery Records. Following the collapse of Heavy Artillery (the Lizard Master Race has not been ruled out as suspects in this incident…) Earache Records swiftly added Vektor to their list of mercenaries. “Outer Isolation” was then re-released in 2013.
Once the decimation of the western coast of the United States was complete, VEKTOR decided to shift their HQ to a more densely populated area. After all, what better way to spread the disease? This decision found the band in their new home of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They are now in striking distance of metropolitan areas such as New York City and Washington DC, as well as more strategic access to the unconquered fronts of Western Europe…
As of this writing, in the eighth month of Earth Year 2015 CE, VEKTOR is verging on the horizon of another release of meteoric proportions. Their third full-length album, “Terminal Redux”, is slated for release later this year.
VEKTOR has shared the stage with countless acts within, and across, the metal world. They have gone on several full US headlining tours and enjoyed several segmented North American tours with acts such as Municipal Waste, Napalm Death, EYEHATEGOD, and Exhumed. They shared a Main Stage at HellFest in France (an experience shared with veteran acts such as VOIVOD, Testament, KISS, Twisted Sister, Down, and many others), and, on the other side of the world, VEKTOR played two nights of Japanese Assault Fest in Tokyo alongside the legendary Girlschool.
Come – join us, find your rank in the legions of the VEKTONAUTS. The infestation has only just begun…..

VELCRO LEWIS GROUP
Velcro Lewis Group is Earth’s premier acid-rock, space-funk septet. The band twists the aesthetics of Funkadelic, Hawkwind, Temptations, and Black Sabbath into their own living -breathing planet of sound. Using conventional instruments like electric washboard, theremin, and modular synths Velcro Lewis Group mixes in the unique sounds of guitar, bass, and drums to optimize their joyful noise. Lead by Hawk Colman, the brother with the 5 octave range, honky tonk veteran, Lawrence Peters singing bass, and blind growler Andy Slater filling out the harmonies folks can’t deny the commands and demands shouted from the stage. Once it becomes possible to drive a Cadillac through space and time the Velcro Lewis Group Will be hot glued into the tape deck. All aboard The starship Impala!
On their 5th full length album, Amnesia Haze, the group set out to deal with some serious shit. The band entered the studio 2 days after the Presidential election. With disgust and uncertainty driving the session the lyrics had changed and the performances intensified. What was once abstractly political had become unapologetically direct. Racial violence, gun violence, police violence, street harassment, xenophobia, fascism, feminism, every point of rage and discourse the country was feeling. Patriarchal Reptile, a free-noise piece voiced by Theremin player Alison Hunger, was recorded and added to the album last minute as a response to the thin-skinned gynophobiac set to lead our country. Amnesia Haze is a cry for unity and awakening from a band sick of fucking around.

VICIOUS ATTACK
Vicious Attack is an extreme thrash metal band from the southside of Chicago, Illinois. Formed during the summer of 2007, the band immediately made their presence known playing shows through the city and suburbs. In January of 2008 Vicious Attack recorded a two track demo with Bob O’Connor of Creature Feature Studios and distributed it through the area. They continued to hammer out shows throughout Chicago-land, playing major venues like Reggie’s Rock Club and The Beat Kitchen, and continued to cement their reputation as a fierce, energetic live act. In March of 2009 Vicious Attack recorded their Blade of the Reaper EP. Engineered by Bob Pop and Mike at Gunpoint Studios and mastered by Joe Diliberto at Tonal Eclipse Studios, Blade of the Reaper showed the band progressing into a faster, more focused sound. Vicious Attack released their first full length album, Declaration Of War, on April 10th, 2021.
Vicious Attack has had the pleasure to share the stage with D.R.I., Evile, M.O.D., Havok, Hatchet, Jungle Rot, Degradation, Lair of the Minotaur, Merciless Death, Lazarus A.D., Bonded by Blood, Early Man, Exmortus, Diamond Plate and many others.

TYPICAL CATS
In an era of havoc and mayhem, political theft and false patriotism, a cadre of highly skilled flow technicians abandon the sinking ship of state to bring the word to the streets. That grievous enemy of the listeners and true heads, “the Establishment” fully aware that the people need beats and rhymes to live, have embarked on a campaign of sonic terrorism. Flooding minds and airwaves with pollutants while grudgingly distributing real hip hop in tainted and dwindling doses.
Determined to derail this morbid status quo, Typical Cats risk the charge of treason to form an underground civil service to freely circulate raw music to the masses. No agenda to push, no president to answer to, no plastic capsules, no commercial breaks.

UGLY RADIO REBELLION W/ IKE WILLIS
Ugly Radio Rebellion was originally formed in July 2002 as a Detroit, MI band known as Uncle Meat. Guitarist Scott Schroen felt inspired to start a project consisting of everyone and anyone capable of playing the music of Frank Zappa. An ad was placed in the local paper simply stating, “musicians wanted to perform the music of Frank Zappa” and so ensued a few weekends of what was later dubbed, “Zappa Survivor”. Groups of musicians would essentially drill selected pieces during rehearsal and later everyone would vote on who they think should stay for the next round. After a few no-shows, a few driven to quit by musical intimidation and a collection of other circumstances, the few that were left from the ‘survivor’ sessions ultimately became the lineup for Uncle Meat. The project performed FZ around the greater Detroit area until the last show on FZ’s birthday, December of 2003. With only a few adjustments, Uncle Meat was disbanded and Scott Schroen and Preston Parish reformed the project as…
