Infa Riot were formed in 1980 (not 1979 as published incorrectly in other biographies/CD booklets) by Barry D’Amery and Lee Wilson, after becoming friends with the Angelic Upstarts at the Lordship pub in Wood Green north London.
Lee’s brother, Floyd Wilson was recruited to play Bass. Barry and Floyd were only
15yrs old at the time and Lee was 17. Over the three or so years they were together they had a total of six drummers, one of them being the brilliant Alex Cardarelli who went on to join the Upstarts and Bad Manners and is in the new line up along with Lee and Barry.
Their first gig was at the Lordship supporting the Upstarts. They then went on to support them on a UK tour.
Two tracks were recorded for the “Strength Thru Oi!” compilation album in 1981 which reached No.51 in the national album chart.
Soon to follow was their first single “Kids of the 80’s” produced by Max Splodge which reached No.8 in the UK indie charts.
In 1982 the second single entitled “The Winner” was released which reached No.9 in the UK indie chart.
Also that year The track “Power” was recorded for the “Wargasm” compilation album and the debut album Still Out Of Order was released and spent a month in the national chart reaching No.42 receiving a top notch review in melody maker. This was followed by tours with the Exploited and also a one off trip to Greece to play in Athens.
In 1983, after pressure from the record company following trouble at gigs and negative press, they were “advised” to tone down the image and change their name to the Infa’s. (Mensi’s nickname for them at the time).
This seemed to spell the end for them as they felt they were no longer in control of the music which the fans loved and wanted to here so they reluctantly called it a day.
A couple of years later a comeback gig was organised. Unfortunately the drummer at the time thought it would be a great idea to get totally pissed to the point where he could barely stand before going on stage and let the rest of the band down badly.
And that was the end of Infa Riot……….UNTIL NOW….
Musical anthropologists interested in the study of just how fast a band can evolve need look no further than the six upright, upstanding men in Oregon’s Larry and His Flask.
Formed by brothers Jamin and Jesse Marshall in 2003, the Flask (as the band’s expanding army of fans calls them) spent its first half-decade stuck in a primordial, punk-rock goop, where a blood-sweat-and-beers live show took priority over things like notes and melodies. Don’t misunderstand: The band was (somewhat) skilled and an absolute joy to watch, but the goal was always the party over perfection.
Over the past two years, however, Larry and His Flask has gone from crawl to sprint at breakneck speed. First, Jamin Marshall moved from gargling-nails vocals to drums. Guitarist Ian Cook became the band’s primary voice. And a trio of talented pickers and singers — Dallin Bulkley (guitars), Kirk Skatvold (mandolin) and Andrew Carew (banjo) — joined the family. (And no, you didn’t miss something. No one is named Larry.)
Determined to make music for a living or die trying, the six brothers set out in a van, intent on playing for anyone, anywhere at any time. From coffee shops to dive bars and street corners to theater stages, the Flask honed their sound and show through experience, attacking each gig like buskers who must grab and hold the attention of passersby in hopes of collecting enough change to get to the next town.
By 2009, Larry and His Flask’s train began gaining steam. The band’s new songs are a blurry blend of lightning fast string-band picking, gorgeous nods to old-school country, and sublime multi-part harmonies, all presented through a prism of punk chaos. The boys have grown and changed, yes, but their shows are still gloriously physical displays of live music’s sheer power. In other words, keep your eyes peeled, or risk taking the heavy end of Jesse Marshall’s flailing, stand-up bass right between the eyes.
A slot supporting the Dropkick Murphys in the Flask’s hometown led to an invitation to open for the Celtic punk kingpins across the eastern half of the United States, as well as an opportunity to finally record their new, twangier sound. The result is Larry and His Flask’s three-song, self-titled 7″ record, pressed in a limited run that’s quickly being snapped up by the band’s new fans, who’ve been clamoring for a sip of aural hooch to call their own.
In mid-2010, the Flask is holed up in their crash pad in Central Oregon, working on songs for their first full-length, playing gigs here and there, and, in the words of Jesse Marshall, “fixing the van and all our broken shit” in anticipation of the next leg of a lifelong tour.
From the valleys of Southern Wisconsin come Luna Mortis. At once melodic and abrasive, technical and engaging, the female-fronted quintet blurs genre lines and transcends convention, carving a niche all their own, providing a new and powerful voice in metal. Since the solidification of their lineup in 2006, the band has consistently set a very high standard for live performance in their native Midwest, delivering precise renderings of their recorded material with unbridled intensity. The strength of the band’s live show has allowed them opening spots for such acts as Megadeth, Nevermore, Dream Theater, Children of Bodom, and many more. This, combined with the international acclaim garnered by the 2006 release of their self-produced LP, “Way of the Blade*”, established Luna Mortis as the region’s premier metal act. By mid-2007, the band had gained sufficient momentum & notoriety to generate significant label interest. They began a period of intensive demo production and showcasing, beginning with the recording of their EP, “The Answer: Does Not Exist*” and culminating with the opportunity to cut four tracks with producer Jason Suecof (Trivium, Chimaira, All That Remains). These efforts ultimately found Luna Mortis a home at Century Media amongst a literal pantheon of some of the band’s most respected and admired influences. This end result of years of dedicated work is only the beginning for Luna Mortis. With the backing of one of metal’s largest and most enduring labels, the band looks outward, prepared to deliver their music to the world. Luna Mortis released their Century Media debut, entitled “The Absence”, on February 10th, 2009.
In February 2013, Luna Mortis announced plans to reunite for festival appearances and the release of new music, tentatively due in late spring/early summer of 2013. The band states: “Details are still forthcoming, and all five members from [LUNA MORTIS’ debut album] ‘The Absence’ are discussing the possibilities.” * – Released under the band’s former name, “The Ottoman Empire”

Stone and Ryan are imports to Chicago from southern Illinois. James grew up right here in Chicago, and Josh came here from St. Louis. The band members bring their own mixture of styles together to form The Kings Rising. Check them out at a venue near you.
Matt O’Ree has been cranking out the blues-rock since he was an early teen. With all the trappings of a genuine guitar hero, he plays with fire in his fingers and blues in his soul. At age 13, he sunk his roots in the blues – Albert King, Howlin’ Wolf, to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. After establishing a good foundation, at age 15, Matt played in various bands, honing his skills through time and pure dedication.
Matt went on to study as a music major in college as well as start his own teachings with guitar students. While working as an intern at a recording studio, he began collaborating with various musicians trying to bring his idea to life. It was at this stage in his career that he found the right blend of people to create the band. In 1997, Matt began writing and recording material that evolved into his debut CD, 88 Miles. It was released in 1998 and gained national reviews and airplay, pushing the band to a higher level which included opening shows for national recording artists like Foreigner, Kansas, Buddy Guy, Leslie West and Mountain, Blues Traveler, The Outlaws, Gov’t Mule, Robin Trower, Blue Oyster Cult, Johnny Winter, Dickie Betts, Gretchen Wilson, The Screamin Cheetah Wheelies, Bernard Allison, Chris Duarte, Indigenous, Robby Kreiger, Bill Perry, Walter Trout, Labambas Big Band, and Smokin’ Joe Kubek.
The completion of his second CD, Chalk It Up, was the breaking point of blending blues and rock together to form a unique sound of his own. This was released in June 2001 and also received rave reviews with regional and national press recognition and airplay.
In March 2005, Matt released his third studio album titled Shelf Life It was featured in an issue of “Guitar World Magazine” appearing alongside numerous rock legends including Audioslave, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, and The Deftones – that claims that “New Jersey’s Matt O’Ree is quickly carving out a name for himself as 2006’s new guitar hero.” Shelf Life also won four Asbury Park Music Awards for: Best Blues Band, Best Guitarist, Best Local Release, Best Song of the Year – “Saints & Sinners”
Then on June 8, 2006, Matt became the Winner of Guitarmageddon “King of the Blues” guitar contest hosted by BB King and John Mayer through Guitar Center and Guitar World Magazine. Matt beat out over 4000 guitar players in that competition to win him the grand prize, multiple guitars and an endorsement from Gibson guitars, shopping sprees with Guitar Center and a car from Scion. This major accomplishment really propelled his career and the momentum for the future of the band.
2008 began a major change in not only the sound, but in the writing direction too. NJ native Hammond B3 player Eric Safka joined after years of discussing the idea with Matt. “We both knew it could work, but for various prior commitments, we didn’t get it together till now…coming from 13 years as a three piece band, this change was the largest by far and the most important…most say Eric was the missing link”. Not long after Eric joining, long time friend Scott Bennert joined on Bass coming from a top-notch working shore band. Scott quickly became the glue that really rooted the sound of the band. The last piece of the puzzle didn’t come until another year of hard struggles when finally John Hummel joined on Drums. Our producer Jon Leidersdorff introduced Matt to John’s talent and once heard, it was like a bolt of lightning. He was the sound of all sounds, a real diamond. Since then, every show has become more spectacular than the next. For the band, it was finally the right situation all around.
With the new line up complete, they have been working hard over the last two years on the next studio album with producer Jon Leidersdorff at Lakehouse Music in Asbury Park, NJ. They have been fortunate enough to land many special guest stars to contribute to their new release including Steve Cropper, John Popper, Bernie Worrell, and Hubert Sumlin. A new DVD release is also in the works of show filmed during the summer of 2012 in Asbury Park and they have just released a new live CD titled “Live in Denver, CO” that was recorded while on tour in during the late spring of 2012 so pick up your copy today!

“The Sybarites are a Chicago based rock band who formed and started playing the Chicago club scene in 2009 with original music and lyrics that are best described as loud, heavy, dirty, sometimes funny, and mostly creepy. “Jayborg” Siemiaszko on drums and Tom “Boz” Rafferty on bass lay the foundation for the complimentary guitar stylings of Mike “Squid” Alwicker and “Edo” Armanetti who intertwine a classic heavy AC/DC style rhythm sound while trading in tradition guitar solo passages and Sonic Youth style noise infusions. Vocals are shared by Rafferty, Alwicker, and Armanetti . Sampling and sound bytes a la local heros Ministry are prominently featured as the band’s fifth member and narrative voice of the band who do not like to talk to the audience very much during a performance.”

Homegrown in Denver Colorado, Tatanka is a quartet specializing in the sounds of dub, progressive reggae, dancehall, and electro soundscapes. Sounds in Technicolor has reached over 7,000 downloads through Tatanka’s website and social networking sites. Their music has been dubbed as drum and bass music for a new generation, a twist on new and old reggae riddim’s, and an instant classic. The pulsing basslines provided by Tatanka’s Malonestar seem to rock the mind into trance while Champian’s guitar work and The Mexico’s hi-hat, snare and kick drum 4/4 playing styles pepper over the top of the album’s four track’s almost flawlessly.
On Passafire’s fifth studio release, Vines, the Savannah, GA based rock outfit continues to progress towards what they feel is their true identity as a band in the reggae rock genre. After starting fresh with several new pieces to the puzzle on their 2011 release, Start From Scratch, they have now teamed up with Easy Star Records (Easy Star All Stars, John Brown’s Body, The Green, Cas Haley) for what the band considers their best album yet. “Passafire continues to stretch Easy Star’s sound and style,” says Lem Oppenheimer, co-founder of the label. “They bring a harder rock edge while still grounding their music in a progressive reggae base. They fit the mold of all of our artists: dedicated, hard working, touring their butts off, and never settling for what people expect of them.”
Passafire was formed in 2003 by students attending Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout the years, they have become a perpetually touring band playing hundreds of shows a year with bands like 311, Rebelution, Pepper, Matisyahu, Michael Franti, The Wailers and many more. Bowne doesn’t mind the grueling schedule and adds, “Touring is the best way to keep the buzz about the band going. What keeps it fun and exciting is the people we meet and places we get to see. We are in a new city every day so there’s always something to go see or do. If we didn’t tour constantly, we wouldn’t be doing as well as we are. That’s a fact.”
EVERYTHING MUST DIE, Chicago three-piece grindcore that mixes elements of hardcore, death metal, punk and all forms of extreme music to create a violent, intense sound with all three members as singers. Guitarist Ryan Richards (EARTHBURNER, NO CONVICTION), bassist John Seidelmann (NO CONVICTION) and drummer Ryan Cawley (DEVANGELIST) were in search of a new sound in March of 2012, and within one month formed EVERYTHING MUST DIE, quickly recorded their TIME TO DIE demo, and went on the road as the opener for D.R.I., sharing their gear and cheap beer across the mid-west. Afterward, the trio hunkered down to perfect their sound and write new music, shredding the stage with bands like CANNIBAL CORPSE, GOJIRA, GREEN JELLY, CAR BOMB, and many more. EMD went back to Mercenary Digital Studio to record their debut album LIVE TO KILL, which was released in January 2013. In the true spirit of do-it-yourself, they made a lyric video for their song “School Shooter”, and soon after their song “SANDUSKY” was featured on a grindcore compilation album GRINDING FOR A CURE, featuring 100 bands across the world, compiled by members of Phobia and Noisear. EMD is currently grinding anywhere they can, promoting the album, writing new music, building a strong fan-base and seeking a record label to help spread the word and put EMD on a stage near you!

The Arizona quartet fuses tight, technical shredding and monstrous grooves together on their formidable second full-length release produced by Logan Mader [DevilDriver, Fear Factory, Five Finger Death Punch, Gojira]. Due out fall 2012 on minus HEAD Records, it’s brutal, bludgeoning, and bloodthirsty metal.
Singer Richie Cavalera is no stranger to quality heavy music. Immersing himself in the genre as a kid, his destiny was always the stage. In 2004, along with Zak [drums], Dis [guitar], and Luis [bass], Richie formed Incite with that in mind.
Soon after, the band destroyed venues across Europe, Canada, Australia and the United States with everyone from Dillinger Escape Plan to Soulfly, garnering rave reviews from tastemakers such as Kerrang! in the process. The group’s 2009 debut, The Slaughter, left an indelible mark on the genre. Revolver called it “thrash that’s hard to refuse/resist”, and the single “Army of Darkness” hit #31 on the Sirius Metal Charts.
Now, they’re bringing everything to a new level with their second full-length. Incite’s modern musical assault and battery has been honed and sharpened. It’s their time now. You’ve been warned.

Canada’s legendary Punk Kings, who helped spread punk rock counterculture around the world, approach a momentous milestone. For nearly 25 years D.O.A. has been happily slashing away at all manner of philosophical enemies. They’ve travelled the globe almost continuously since they formed in 1978; they released their first snarling piece of vinyl, the “Disco Sucks” EP in June of that year. That slab of plastic opened the door to international prominence, riots, rip-off record companies and three generations of fans.
In 1981, D.O.A. made the term “hardcore” their own and pushed it into the common vernacular with their legendary album “Hardcore 81” and subsequent tours. Consequently, D.O.A. has been cited as a major influence for tons of bands ranging from The Red Hot Chili Peppers to Green Day to Rancid to The Offspring. They followed that up with their ground breaking EP “War on 45” and “Bloodied But Unbowed.”
D.O.A. has always worn their politics on their sleeves. They’ve done a lot shit disturbing along the way. They’ve been harassed and busted and survived all that crap. D.O.A.’s blatant slogan,TALK-ACTION=0 sums it all up.
The stuff the band’s worked on through the years; they’ve played benefits for Rape Relief, anti-racism, rock-for brains, anti-globalization, OXFAM, first nations rights, anti censorship and environmental causes amongst many others.
D.O.A.’s sound and philosophy has been held together by Canada’s Godfather of punk Joey “Shithead” Keithley’s songwriting, singing and guitar playing. D.O.A.’s sound, although always rooted in punk rock, has managed to create a fair bit of consternation for those who would like to choose musical boxes. It’s punk, but it incorporates rock n’ roll, reggae, metal, and ska. Whatever the hell their sound is, it’s pulled out a “Yeah, that’s the shit!” from the likes of Henry Rollins, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sonic Youth, Jello Biafra, Bif Naked, John Doe, Randy Bachman, Dave Grohl, Pete Seeger, Yada, Yada, Yada, you get the picture.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary, Sudden Death has released the definitive D.O.A. album, “War and Peace,” a 25-track compilation of D.O.A.’s greatest recorded moments. War and Peace starts at the roots of “Disco Sucks”, “The Enemy” and “Liar For Hire” right through to their modern blitzkrieg sound of “Dead Men Tell No Tales” and “Just Say No To The WTO.”
D.O.A. will blast through live shows with their new rock solid lineup of Joey, Floor Tom Jones on drums and bassist Randy Rampage. Watch for extensive touring in Canada and around the world in 2007 and beyond.
In 2003, Shithead’s first book “I Shithead,a life in punk” came out on Arsenal Pulp Press. It is a definitive and raunchy look at punk and the spread of counter culture throughout western society. Sudden Death has also released “Let’s Start The Action,” an electronic tribute to D.O.A. performed by 20 different artists from around the world and inspired by the anti-globalization movement. As well, Sudden Death has recently re-released D.O.A.’s 1st two albums”Something Better Change” and “Hardcore 81”, recently picked as two of the top 5 Canadian punk rock albums of all time. A full length documentary on D.O.A. “Talk-Action=0” is being developed by filmmaker Marcus Rogers [The Widower].
D.O.A. has travelled a long, tough road that has taken them around the world and the raw energy continues. The band has never been more active, having recently released their second DVD, D.O.A.’s “Greatest Shits” and a split album with metal legend Thor entitled “Are U Ready”. Recently Mayor Larry Campbell of Vancouver declared December 21st to be “D.O.A. Day” in Vancouver. The band has also been featured in punk and political books published around the world.
Come join in the power and non-compromise that is D.O.A.

Estrin has created some of the finest blues songs of any artist on the planet. His carefully wrought lyrics penetrate human weakness with the precision of a boxer, though more often than not, he chooses to leave you laughing after the blow’s been struck.” – Blues Revue
Rick Estrin, according to The San Francisco Chronicle, “is an amazing harmonica player, a soulful lead vocalist and a brilliant songwriter.” The award-winning musician, another critic said, “sounds like Little Walter playing and singing Leiber and Stoller.” Along with The Nightcats- jaw-dropping guitarist Chris “Kid” Andersen, singing drummer (who plays standing up) J. Hansen and dynamic multi-instrumentalist Lorenzo Farrell (electric and acoustic bass, organ and piano)-Rick Estrin serves up fresh and modern original blues injected with a solid dose of gritty roadhouse rock ‘n’ roll. Since the 2009 release of their celebrated Alligator Records debut, Twisted, the band has toured non-stop, honing their creative synergy to a razor’s edge. Night after night, the band blazes their own innovative musical path while still remaining true to the blues. The results of all of this natural chemistry can be heard on their irresistible new album, One Wrong Turn.
One Wrong Turn is an up-to-the-minute and totally accessible slice of original deep blues with a simmering, funky rock edge fueled by Andersen’s blazing genre-hopping guitar and Farrell’s and Hansen’s lively keyboard and rhythm work. The album features 12 new songs, most written by Estrin, with all the band members also contributing originals. One Wrong Turn effortlessly slides from the sly D.O.G. to the wry and ironic title track, from the laugh-out-loud (I Met Her On The) Blues Cruise to the spaghetti-western-while-surfing instrumental The Legend Of Taco Cobbler to the stellar solo harmonica and vocal delivery of Old News. The lowdown blues Broke And Lonesome and the outsider observations of Lucky You find Estrin personalizing political issues, telling universal truths in the process. One listen makes it clear that this is a group comprised of four world-class musicians, who together form one of the tightest and most original bands in any genre.
Rick Estrin ranks among the very best harp players, singers and songwriters in the blues world. His work on the reeds is deep in the tradition of harmonica masters Sonny Boy Williamson II and Little Walter Jacobs, while at the same time pushing that tradition forward. The Associated Press calls his harp playing “endlessly impressive.”
In addition to his harmonica and vocal skills, Rick Estrin is a songwriter of unparalleled talent. Critics have compared his original songs to the work of Cab Calloway, Louis Jordan, Willie Dixon and Leiber and Stoller. And his hipster, street-smart vocals are the perfect vehicle for driving those songs home. Blues Revue says, “Estrin has created some of the finest blues songs of any artist on the planet. His carefully wrought lyrics penetrate human weakness with the precision of a boxer, though more often than not, he chooses to leave you laughing after the blow’s been struck.”
Estrin won the 1994 Blues Music Award for his composition My Next Ex-Wife and has written songs for a growing legion of other musicians. Three of his songs found their way onto Grammy-nominated albums: Don’t Put Your Hands On Me (on Koko Taylor’s Force Of Nature), I’m Just Lucky That Way (on Robert Cray’s Shame + A Sin), and Homely Girl (on John Hammond’s Trouble No More). “I like songs that tell stories,” Rick says, “songs that are well-crafted and meaningful.” Along with Dixon and Leiber and Stoller, Estrin cites Sonny Boy Williamson II, Percy Mayfield and Detroit bluesman Baby Boy Warren as his major songwriting influences. Billboard says Rick writes “fabulous, remarkable original material.” Besides Estrin’s streetwise songwriting and musical skills, he is among the most entertaining and colorful showmen around. His quick wit and his signature look-coifed hair, pencil-thin mustache and sharply pressed, custom made suits-add even more color to his performances. “People don’t go out to see people who look like themselves,” says Rick. “They want to see something special. I was schooled in this business to be a showman, and that’s what you get when you come to see me perform.”
Estrin was born in San Francisco, California in 1949, and grew up following his own path. He discovered an entirely new lifestyle when, as a 10-year-old boy, he made his way to the tough Market Street area and befriended many of the neighborhood characters. He found another new world when his older sister gave him a copy of Ray Charles’ The Genius Sings The Blues when he was 12. Albums from Jimmy Reed, Champion Jack Dupree, Mose Allison, Nina Simone and others soon followed. By the time he was a teenager, Estrin had completely identified with the urban, African-American culture surrounding him.
Rick got his first harmonica at age 15, and by age 18 was proficient enough to begin sitting in at black clubs around the city. He first jammed with blues master Lowell Fulson and almost immediately was hired to open five shows for R&B giant Z.Z. Hill. He worked five nights a week for almost a year with guitar legend Travis Phillips in a band fronted by famed pimp/bluesman Fillmore Slim (who was the centerpiece of the acclaimed Hughes Brothers documentary American Pimp). Phillips introduced Estrin to Rodger Collins, the man who would become Rick’s first real musical mentor, and who schooled Rick on the finer points of songwriting and show business. Estrin moved to Chicago when he was 19 and worked with South Side bluesmen Johnny Young, Eddie Taylor, Sam Lay and Johnny Littlejohn before meeting and jamming with Muddy Waters, who told Rick, “You outta sight, boy! You got that sound, boy! You play like a man, boy!” In fact, Muddy wanted Estrin to go on the road with him, but due to nothing more than a missed phone call, it never happened. Rick eventually moved back to the Bay Area, met Charlie Baty and formed Little Charlie & The Nightcats.
For more than 30 years and nine albums, Rick fronted the band, featuring Baty’s one-of-a-kind guitar acrobatics. The band won international acclaim and toured the world repeatedly. They were nominated four times for the prestigious Blues Music Award for Band Of The Year. With Charlie’s retirement in 2008, Rick rededicated himself to his craft. Hansen and Farrell wanted to keep the band going. Estrin knew the only way to replace Baty’s crazed and unique guitar style was to find someone with an equally insane and individual approach, and he knew that would be a tall order to fill.
As luck would have it, Kid Andersen, who had been working with another harp legend, Charlie Musselwhite, became available. “Kid’s a fearless nut on the guitar,” says Estrin. “He’s really the only guy who could fit in with us.” With an unpredictable, no-holds-barred style that perfectly meshed with Estrin’s wildly imaginative original songs, the new band charged out of the gate in 2009 with Twisted. Living Blues said, “Outstanding…most definitely twisted- in the finest sense of the word.” Blues Revue declared, “Rick Estrin & The Nightcats are one of modern blues’ most versatile and original bands.” Live, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats take their ever-growing legion of fans on a seriously fun and musically memorable twisted ride. They have electrified crowds across the U.S., and on hugely successful tours of South America, Turkey, and cities all over Europe. As a testament to their talent, the audiences at their performances are always peppered with musicians wanting to glean a lick from these musical masters.
Now, with One Wrong Turn, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats continue to reinvent, redefine and revolutionize modern blues. Constantly pushing each other to new heights, Estrin, Andersen, Hansen and Farrell are blazing a trail for all to follow. “We’re more inspired to push the envelope,” says Estrin, “to take more chances.” With One Wrong Turn, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats have clearly turned in the right direction.

Formed in 2008 and fronted by vocalist Larado Romo, ANTI-MORTEM’s line-up includes older brother-guitarist Nevada Romo, guitarist Zain Smith, bassist Corey Henderson and drummer Levi Dickerson. With over 300 shows to their name, these Chickasha, Oklahoma natives (aged between 18 & 22) spent their formative nights and weekends woodshedding their sound on the concert stage they built themselves in the Smith family barn (originally intended to store an old car collection).
While Zain’s parents were away working on the weekends, ANTI-MORTEM would turn their barn rehearsal space into a makeshift venue and hone their chops by inviting friends and family in Chickasha over for an afternoon of gravel-throated vocals, crunch-laden riffs, thick grooves, and some good ol’-fashioned Southern hospitality.
Nuclear Blast Entertainment President Monte Conner states: “ANTI-MORTEM connect with a fist-to-the-face, combining the power of American heavy metal and the down-home flavor of the classic Southern rock and blues they were raised on. I’ve been watching them develop for the past two years and they are now ready to show the world how a good ass-kicking is delivered.”
The story of The Hot Mollies is a long and often misunderstood one. It all began one year in high school. Wheeling High School, to be specific. Three young boys, two of whom knew eachother before, and the other just a loser, met under some strange circumstances: a school variety show. From there, they formed the power trio known as Suttree, performing at several other High School variety shows. It was not until their guitarist, a young fellow named Joseph, came up with the idea to change the name to “The Hot Mollies”.
The Hot Mollies? Yes, and they were from then on known as The Hot Mollies, and have been bringing the Wheeling Countryside rock and roll for the past several years.
Born & bred Downriver, singer/songwriter Ryan Dillaha is truly a product of Detroit. Educated at Wayne State, he worked at Rouge Steel while working on his PhD in American Literature. Growing up he was surrounded by Motown and the classic country music his father brought with him as he made his way up the “Hillbilly Highway” from Tennessee to Detroit for work. These influences are unmistakable in Dillaha’s heartfelt self-released, “Love Alone”. As the cover promises…”solid gold heartbreaking hits”.
Loud, melodic punk. Always urgent, sometimes-psychedelic and never happy. Shit’s tasteful.

Drawing from the musical styles of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ryan Adams, John Mayer, Lucinda Williams, Chris Whitley, and BB King, to name a few, Noah’s music rests uniquely on blues/rock with nuances for R&B/soul, folk, and alternative country.

Embarking on his first ever solo acoustic tour this past July, Gabriel made his way back from Austin, Texas to Chicagoland via the west coast. Upon return, he linked up with new drummer Justin O’Connell and bass player/vocalist Chad Watson, now known as the trio Noah’s Arcade. The new trio helped release Gabriel’s seventh album, Austin Bound, on December 28, 2012. They’re currently recording album number eight.

So far I’m hoping to start touring again towards the beginning of 2013. More updates to come!!!

We don’t like to limit ourselves to only one genre, and the result has been amazing. We like to joke around with people and say “you want pop, we got it, R&B, we got that too, rock, we can try that too.” But whatever we do, we strive to make it memorable, original, and full of energy. Cedric Burnside is the grandson of the legendary R.L. Burnside and renowned as one of the best drummers in the world. If you are looking to revisit R.L. Burnside’s performances, his presence is undeniably on stage with the Cedric Burnside and his band, The Cedric Burnside Project. The Cedric Burnside Project is a collaboration of Cedric Burnside, his “little, big brother” (Cody Burnside) and talented guitar and bass player (Trenton Ayers). The Cedric Burnside Project introduces a new and original genre of music by infusing Mississippi Hill Country Blues, Funk, R&B and soul that will keep you on the dance floor all night long. This electric combination of North Mississippi musicians that were raised playing Hill Country Blues on the front porch does not allow one to wonder about what blues was or what direction The Cedric Burnside Project will take it next. Cedric, who began playing drums in his grandfather’s band at the age of thirteen, has taken his music to a whole new level by adding his new set of guitar solos to his performances. Cedric showcases his mastery of his open tuned guitar to warm you up for the treats he is planning to amaze you with when he steps behind the drums. Cedric’s original music along with songs that he played with his grandfather transports you to the small town in Mississippi, where Cedric grew up surrounded by Hill Country Blues pulsing from R.L. Burnside’s or “Big Daddy’s” front porch.
