KID
Formed in 2014, the Oak Park based band Kid is an amalgam of genre influences spanning from 90’s grunge to contemporary pop. Consisting of quirky singer/songwriter Dominic Frigo (Two Aglets Jazzing, Halls of Extinction, The Red Cartel), and bassist/arranger Daniel Thatcher, Kid’s uniquely crafted sound combines compositional virtuosity with accessibility. Each song maintains a poignant and endemic framework of complexity underneath catchy and unconventional melodies.
