In 2023 Johnny was nominated for a BMA for Best Traditional Blues Artist. He maintains a relentless tour schedule across the US, in Japan, Europe and Mexico. He’s also gained a loyal YouTube following for his ‘nooks and crannies’ guitar lessons posted every Monday. Vintage Guitar praised his ‘stellar guitar playing’ and Living Blues called him “talented and audacious”.
