BRANDT CARMICHAEL WITH WRONGWAY
Brandt Carmichael is a young, bright, musician from Royal Center, Indiana. Brandt started playing music when he was four when his parents Kevin and Jody Carmichael got him a guitar and drums for Christmas. Brandt entered a Talent Show and rocked out Bob Seger “Old Time Rock And Roll” Although he did not win it drove him to work harder with his music. Brandt then picked up the piano and later found where he really wanted to be which is a guitar player/ front man. He started a band “WrongWay” in 2010 and started recruiting local band mates. After a long and hard search for band mates lasting over three years. Brandt found his right match when attending Kokomo Sound of Music’s “Rock Star Training Academy” A summer camp for musicians. He got the chance to meet a lot of young musicians. He find one that fit just right he was perfect for his band and they practiced and picked up a drummer and started playing shows. Brandt picked up lots of shows from Brandt’s Harley Davidson Concert Series. He also plays at festivals, private parties. Brandt has also started an annual event called “A Little Help For My Friends” A benefit for the Emmaus Mission Center a homeless shelter. This event is held at McHale Performing Arts Center. This is the first concert Brandt ever planned and played at Brandt raised three thousand dollars for them in 2013. He has bigger and better plans for the next year’s concert!
