Night Witch is an alternative pop synth band from Elgin, Illinois. Formed in the Chicago suburb at the end of 2014, Night Witch’s line-up consists of Daniel Craig (vocals), Danielle Haggard (vocals), Kevin O’Neill (drums), Eddie Du (synth), Dillon Anderson (guitar), Mike Colon (guitar), and Nate Long (bass). The band is an eclectic mix of members who have all had their own successes in the music business. The band members have played at venues such as CBGB’s in NYC, The Metro in Chicago, Double Door in Chicago, and The Rave in Milwaukee. The band’s influences are little bits and pieces of each member’s individual influences like Depeche Mode, Shiny Toy Guns, Deadmau5, and Tears for Fears.
Night Witch just released their EP Heir of Sympathy in August, 2015 which is available on iTunes, Spotify, SoundCloud, ReverbNation, and more. Tracks like Truly and Sunshine have been heard on WXRT 93.1, 103.9 The Fox, and soon will be heard on Radio One Chicago. Although the EP leans towards the Pop Synth genre, Night Witch takes it up a few notches live and is far closer to the alternative spectrum of music.
