Popstar is a Minneapolis-based duo consisting of Alec Tonjes and Lars Oslund, blending metal, industrial, and hyper-pop, featuring aggressive tones and distorted vocals. They released their debut EP, Obscene, in April 2024, featuring the single “Afterparty”. They are known for high-energy live performances.
