Caught On Cline is a powerhouse collective born out of Northwest Indiana, blending Mediterranean vibes with elements of R&B, funk, and fusion. Officially formed in the summer of 2014 in Nicholas Kazonis’ living room, the band traces its roots to lifelong friendships and serendipitous encounters. Childhood friends Nick and Nik began jamming as a creative outlet, later joining forces with Alex Akers after meeting during a musical pit gig. Together, they crafted a sound as unique as their backstories, shaped by diverse influences and an unwavering mission to bring people together through music.
The band’s name, Caught On Cline, pays homage to their Northwest Indiana community and its infamous, ever-under-construction Cline Avenue. Initially coined after a late arrival to rehearsal due to traffic, the name stuck and became a symbol of their connection to the region.
