Drawing influence from bands at every stage of punk’s history, such as the Ramones, Misfits, Groovie Ghoulies and Teenage Bottlerocket, Toxic Rocket has been dubbed “party punk”. They play fun, upbeat and quirky songs dealing with subjects ranging from their love of music to cheesy sci-fi movies to childhood to punk rock girls. They’re usually accompanied by their own go-go dance troupe the Toxic Rockettes during their live performances.
