ACHILLES

Originally formed in 2008 by brothers, Alex (Lead Guitar) and Esteban Nambo (Rhythm Guitar), their cousin, Jesus Pacheco (Bass Guitar), and Andrew Bonczkowski (Drums), Achilles’ core group and foundation was set. Throughout the years, the band went through several lineup changes, often cycling in and out multiple singers, with breaks in between as each individual band member often pursued different musical careers. In the summer of 2016, the original members; Alex, Esteban, Jesus, and Andrew recruited singer, Rob Ochoa, to round out their lineup. Based out of the Chicago-land area, Achilles is a hard rock band which combines elements of music ranging from; classic rock, metal, grunge, and alternative music in an attempt to be unlike anything you have ever heard.

Achilles’ debut EP, “Revelations” was released in April 2017. The word, “Revelation” is described as a surprising and previously unknown fact, especially one that is made known in a dramatic way. From start to finish, the EP was designed to showcase the bands strengths; utilizing duel guitars, provide deep/meaningful lyrics with captivating hooks/melodies, and an all around Rock N’ Roll roller-coaster ride. Throughout the album musical influences such as; Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Alter Bridge, Chris Cornell, and Scott Weiland are often heard.
