Queen of Dreams European-style progressive power metal to the American Midwest. Our sound combines heavy riffs and catchy, soaring melodies with dazzling keyboard flourishes and progressive elements to create a truly epic experience for both your ears and your imagination.

We believe that heavy metal is for everyone. Our members range in age from early 20s to mid-50s, reflect an equal gender distribution, and hail from different backgrounds and life experiences. We draw strength from the diversity of our influences in our creative work and likewise seek to reach a diverse audience.

Epic fantasy literature is a bedrock of inspiration for our all-original music. Our lyrics connect our lived experiences to themes from fiction, with no homework necessary for appreciation. Exploring the lenses of our literary heroes through music helps us understand the range of life’s triumphs and disappointments.

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Queen of Dreams has been performing live since 2021 and is expanding its reach throughout the Midwest.
