The Blizzard of Ozz is a well-established Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne tribute band featuring some of the best musicians from the Chicagoland area. The Blizzard of Ozz was formed in 1996 by guitarist Kevin M Buck, and they have played well over a thousand successful shows since. The Blizzard of Ozz plays clubs and theaters nationally, and they are available for various festivals, colleges, and other events.
The band plays over sixty songs from Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, from giant hits like Paranoid, Iron Man, and Crazy Train to more obscure songs like A National Acrobat and Under The Sun. With such an extensive set list, the band is available to play anywhere from fifteen minutes to five hours, and can range from more traditional sounding classic rock to more modern sounding heavy metal (depending on the need of the buyer). One can expect a professional concert experience that leaves the crowd in awe.
The Blizzard of Ozz has been featured on many television shows and has received much positive press from magazines and newspapers over the years. The Blizzard of Ozz was voted top three tribute artists by the Midwest Beat Magazine in their 2004 readers’ poll. The Blizzard of Ozz was also nominated for the best tribute band by Suburban Nightlife in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
