The Alright Maybes’ story begins at a 2020 Halloween party in Chicago. Founding and current members Angie Reinhart, Julian Daniell and Luke Ray decided to share the songs that had been living in their heads. A string of singles and EPs helped the band find their people, and secure opening slots for the likes of Heartless Bastards and Haley Reinhart. Hear them raw (Always Almost EP), frustrated (“Gone”), contemplative (Blue Sky Thinking EP), or on a personal mission (upcoming single “Mind’s Made Up”). The Alright Maybes are a product of their eclectic record collections, and the variety of live music in Chicago, where the band remains today.
In between live shows, the band is constantly widening their musical palette in the studio. The next chapter begins December 6, 2024 with the release of their energetic and dreamy single “Mind’s Made Up.”
